There are indeed, a selection of NER/LNER freight suitable for the Q6 (and any other NE freight trains). We'll try and get a blog post up on Friday showing them all.

Very nice looking cab indeed , im quite surprised how big the front windows are they certainly give you a good clear wide view rather then a small porthole view and also that boiler pressure gauge is huge compared with other engines.Never heard of a steam assisted reverser before so i look forward to trying that in advanced mode.Steam brake only on the early versions will be a challenge to drive and brake van assistance will be critical i expect.I would imagine they didnt go above 25mph most of the time when pulling heavy coal trains.Any idea what year they added vacuum brakes ??

Thanks Newbouy

Dammit - looking excellent as usual :-(

Like the S160, I’d decided the Q6 wasn’t really the right region / interest for me...

But a dirty heavy freight engine - there’s got to be an excuse

Anyone noticed this issue with the Terriers? This is the worn BR version (but it's not just a problem of this particular livery, it's only more visible here) and the back of the firebox can be seen from outside...

Hmm, that one must have slipped through testing.. and 10 months of them being out as that's the first time it's been bought up. We will take a look at a fix for it when we get a moment.

For today, the last post on the upcoming Q6 just summarising what's included

Looks set to be another great release Pete as standard now  I may have seen this engine only once when visiting the GCR. She is a lovely Pre grouping design!

Theres a hell of alot of very usefull wagons there ,im glad someone has done the 20 ton wooden hoppers. They were mostly transfered to internal NCB use in their later lives and were painted in the distinctive orangey red colour.

That would be great if you could fix that, with some liveries it is really quite apparent.

I purchased the Terrier packs back in August or September and actually could spot this pretty fast. I just didn't get to reporting it and then didn't use the Terriers much so it was forgotten.

I thought some of you may be interested to see my work-in-progress on backdating a section of the BML to pre-grouping condition to allow the LBSCR Liveried Terriers (and indeed E2's and G's!) to work in an authentic environment. So far Burgess Hill has been done, and this should hopefully form the first of a series of TS articles I'm currently writing for the fantastic LBSCR Modeller's Digest.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know of a further source of LBSCR Assets than the Bluebell Railway ones?
