Excellent idea Mark. Thank you very much for you response.
I realise that the issue was not with IOW per se', but thought that this topic might be a good place to ask about it.

JustRight wrote:Hi All,

Finally got around to setting up the IOW Network v7. What a labour of love this must be for you guys!

However, I have found that the DT Terrier has a couple of issues. First the Cab View shows the all too common graphic distortion through the windows, and secondly from and external view the track under the loco is invisible. The corrupted view through the windows I have often seen on older non-TS2012/13/14 models, but the missing track under the loco??? I suspect that this may be a shadow problem?

Anyway, is anyone aware if there have been any updates to the DT Terrier to bring it up to TS2012/13/14 specs?

I have searched the library but only found a Terrier v2 update, UKTS-26441, but nothing newer?

Cheers.
I'm glad (not really) someone else has the same issue with the graphic distortion in the windows of the DT Terrier,as I suffer from this as well. I've just put up with it and drive this engine from the outside view. Is there a fix ?

Hi this was 'solved' following last years IoWNv6 release - Those with the original RSDL release of IoW do not have the issue, but those of us who bought the route via Steam have the issue because the route was updated to have rain effects

Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

From the external view, do you see the track beneath the loco? Or is this perhaps an issue with my particular install?

Trevor, have just had started all three scenarios which contained the Terrier and in my setup I can say that the tracks under the loco are visible,so it looks as if it could be as you say "an issue with your particular install". Sorry I can't be of more help.

Does anyone else's track only appear on the Ryde-Ventnor, Brading-Bembridge and Sandown-Newport line (As far as Merstone),other than that the train follows the track but the track sin't visible. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

It sounds like you do not have the bespoke track assets installed. The routes you describe with track still use the original RSDL track. Those which you describe as being without visual track use our own track assets which are included within the asset packs that go with the latest version of the route. I suggest that you check to make sure that all the asset packs listed in the readme file that comes with the route are correctly installed. The most likely file that did not install correctly is IOWNWv7aAssets1.rwp or IOWNWv7aAssets2.rwp.

Any idea what the filenames are Mark? I've had a look around the downloads and can't seem to find them.

Hi,

Sorry to bump this up but I thought it would be best then to open up a new thread.

I'm getting dump error messages followed by TS2013 Needs to Close at certain signals, the two that I've found that have caused errors for me at least, is Cowes platform and the junctions south of Newport, I've had this issue since V5 but I've always replaced them with LED and seems to of fixed the issue.

I can't help you with the question but you did the right thing by posting on an already open thread rather than creating a new one :-) Welcome to normal posting status - your posts will now appear without moderator approval.

Threads lock down after 6 months to stop ancient threads being bumped but they can be reopened if new discussion warrants it.
Kindest regards

So I presume you uninstalled all previous versions of the route and have added the required assets?
I have no problems apart from an odd section where I cannot run an Emu :)

antonyperks wrote:Fantastic route so detailed, i couldnt run the V6 version, but this one loads fine, only tried one scenario so far the 2 part goods (cant remember the name), but i get a collision with passenger train that leaves before i get to the junction?
Hi,
If you can give me the scenario name and where/what train/what time the AI collision is occuring I'll see if it's one of mine - even if it's not I'll have a look and see what's happening and see if it can be sorted out - all of my scenarios have been tried and tested many times so I'd like to know if one is now broken so I can fix it :)
Thanks,

I think I found the issue, I missed the V6 Asset pack 1 which I forgot to remove, I will give it ago tomorrow evening as I'm currently at work.

Thank you.

P.S. on V7 there is a rouge Terrier No 13 on the section between Ashey and Heavenstreet, nearly crashed in to it if it wasn't for the signals lol
