I recently purchased Train Simulator 2013 - Europe Ultimate Collection at 111.99 GBP through Steam (10 days before they reduced the price by 50%). All the routes were OK (and well enjoyed) apart from Isle of Wight. On loading any of the Scenarios, the screen is filled with disparate triangles of colour, in all shapes and sizes, see screenshots.

I can control trains, but cannot see what they are doing, or where they are going. I then get a message that a dump has occurred, and the game ceases. Also, in the Build section, any attempt to grab an IoW asset immediately causes the same problem. I contacted Steam Support (what a rigmarole trying to get a question through to them that is not on their FAQ list!) They suggested
“Please check to make sure your game files are installed correctly.
Right-click on the game in your Library list and go to Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
NOTE: There may be files that fail to validate. This is normal and can be ignored.
After Steam verifies the game cache, try running the game again."
This I have done several times, but the problem persists.
They then suggested
"If you continue to experience this issue, please contact the game manufacturer for support.”
I contacted RS (now Dovetail Games) on 28 November and got the reply
"Thank you for contacting the Railsimulator.com customer support, your enquiry has been logged with a member of our dedicated customer support team.
We are currently aware of the issue with the "Isle of Wight" scenarios that you have described, our developers are working on a fix and we hope to distribute it on STEAM once complete.

I contacted them again on 16 December
"Have there been any developments with the fix? I still cannot get any of the scenarios to run, nor place any of the assets on my route under development."
and got the standard reply
"Thank you for contacting the Railsimulator.com customer support, your inquiry has been logged with a member of our dedicated customer support team.
If you see a Scenario.bin error then please press F2 and select to save the game, immediately after, it should then start to play normally.
Did you know that you may switch off the career scoring if you prefer to play career scenarios, without the scoring system enabled.
Switch On or Off Career Scoring.
1. From main menu, go to "Settings",
2. Then select "Gameplay"
3. Then select "Score Career Scenarios"
4. Select the option to either turn the career scoring On or Off.
The achievement system has recently been completely revamped, further information about it may be made
available over the coming months via the usual media outlets.

A further enquiry on 5 January
"Am still awaiting a reply to my message of 16 Dec, regarding my original query of 27 Nov. I still have a route that does not work, nor am I able to use any of its features, When is the likely date for the fix that was promised?"
has still to be acknowledged.
The problem persists, as I tried to run the route this morning, with the same result.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
regards
Nick
