Thanks Graham
But he has a point,
The reason this happens was i tried to even up the assets files and the route files in V6, problem was i forgot about this, and so the files did not get inserted into the route file for V7.
In the next up-grade i will build a complete new set of Assets files so this will not happen.
In fact i will do a new set, and post them as upgrades, they will be permanent assets, they will not alter for the rest of the route up-grade, the only ones to alter will be the route, Jeff's & Marks files, as they make the new assets for the up-grades
Sorry for the .-up

Hi Kernow 2 - problem solved I think. My stupidity & not clearly reading instructions. I thought I'd got rid of all the old [V6] scenarios, but had'nt - was trying to run a V6 scenario. Everything working fine now. Sorry about the panic.

Sorry you're having problems Antony.
let me have the scenario name and where and what time the AI collision occured.
Was it "Two into One will Go" v7 GS? - I've just run it through to Merstone without any problems
Thanks,
G.

Having had my initial problems, or so I thought - having reread the "readme" & reinstalled all that was needed, everything is working perfect;y.
What a fantastic route - well done to all the developers.

Dear all
I've noticed a few missing marker issues and other problems with some scenarios, but most of them labelled for v7 seem to work fine. This is an incredible piece of work. Wonderfully detailed and very atmospheric. I can see hours of pleasure coming up.
While there are definitely problems with some v7 scenarios I suspect that some of the others that don't work for me are because I have had previous versions installed and still have some of the old scenarios installed. For those having problems, it might be worth checking that you are actually trying to use v7 scenarios before reporting errors.
Overall though, this is superb work, good as anything commercially available. Many thanks to all involved!
Cheers
Greg

Hello all another problem I may of found sorry,is I cannot see any water cranes at ryde st johns theres a water tank there but seems no way to fill up the same at ryde pier head a tank but no cranes unless there missing from my version iv'e loaded all relavent files even the two put on to day I have a total of sixteen folders to get this going.
Ok I made a free roam scenario just north of brading I took it back to ryde st johns, when you get near ryde st johns running light loco theres a big shadow which follows the loco back for a while looks like cloud ?,also there are men near the loco shed floating in mid air where the e1 loco was,and theres rusty rails floating to the left of the engine shed, can some check please where these water cranes should be on the island,I think the 02 could be underpowered because I cant see anyway getting a six coach train from ryde to ventnor sorry about all of this but its better to know thank you all.

Tornados, thank you for your comments, you are not missing the water cranes. At the time that the area around Ryde was originally modelled (about 3-4 years ago) there were no suitable water cranes for either Ryde Pier Head or Ryde St.Johns (and most locos at that time did not use water). There are still no suitable cranes, so we will probably have to make suitable models once this area next comes up for up-grading and detailing. If in the mean time suitable water cranes and tanks become available that we can use, I will add them at the next up-grade. The next section of the route that will be up-graded will be from Merstone to Ventnor via Sandown.
With regard to the O2 which one were you using? The reason being that various versions don't appear to all use the same physics for some reason. I will leave other team members to comment on the floating men and rails and also the O2 in detail

Hello but there are water tanks and cranes at least three different types located at cowes, newport, freshwater, ventnor west, ningwood, merstone, ventnor and sandown,my comment was why are there none at ryde st johns the major mpd and ryde pierhead they are available to put in has someone forgot to do this ?.
I love this route and want it to be correct as all of you do i'm sure i'm not blaming anyone just could not see why they weren't there.
Ok I took the a1x on a run from Newport to freshwater in one of the scenarios got about two thirds of the way and ran out of water

Hi Greg,
Most v6 scenarios will not run because, as you have discovered, track has changed and some markers have been given new names.
All of the v7_GS scenarios (mine) have been tried and tested to the verge of marital break-up but I do recognise that stuff happens ! I will always look into any problems that you may be experiencing.
Glad you're having a play though,

Hi all
Has anyone seen the E1 at Ryde St John Engine Shed with the fitters all over it, I'm asking because i don't know if it has showed up, some say there are figures in mid air, hence the question,
Also is anyone having problems with the 02 s misbehaving in regards to water usage or endurance.
I need to get all the bugs out before i can do a set of permanent assets files that will not change as we up-grade the route.
We have had some fantastic responses for the route, And it pleases us to know that all the swearing, heartaches , head-scratching
and very late nights rebuilding sections that don't look right was worth the grief from the wife because she thinks the railway has to come first,
not that we would do that would we lads

Thank You for your support, it means a grate deal.

Hi
First thanks for a great new upgrade to the route.
I am having problems with the o2 running out of water and loss of power on the Terrier, to the extent the thing just stops.
All the scenarios apart from this are fine.
Noticed also lack of Station Names on Sandown, Shanklin and Wroxhall, stations.
Apart from these few things, many congratulations on a superb upgrade.

O2 running out of water...
Yes, I was en route from Shanklin to Ryde (just before a 15 mph speed restriction, I think), keeping my boiler topped up (above 85% at all times) when I hit the 'Out of Water' fatal error. Is the sim failing ( in some key location) to register boiler replenishment?
That apart, this route is superb - it really shows the years you have all invested in it.
Kind regards,
John M

Hi all
Just to say I have now installed the missing stock RWP and now everything is running ok

I have had a couple of runs over some of the route and it is brilliant, if there is anybody reading this who is not a UKTS member it is worth joining up for this route alone. Well done to the team for producing one of the best routes available for Rail Sim, brilliant work.
