How about some graveyards? More big town pubs and not these village real ale pretty buildings. Football stadium kits from non-league to erm, bigger.
Don't get me started...

A European main line which is not set in Austria or Germany.
Switzerland is nice but it would be mostly Electric lococ.
France would be good
Belgium would be interesting with a wide variety of trains and densely populated network.
And a Eurostar
Can give it a run on London to Peterborough

Would love a Class 124 transpennie. But it would have to be built by drawings.atlasduff47 wrote:Oh, we still seem to be missing a class 124

Perhaps also a 56, 45 and 25 from RSC might be quite nice?

Re: What would you like to see in 2014?
I haven't read ALL of the posts in this thread, but what I'd like to see is the facility of joining two routes together.
As an example, I have Bristol-Exeter and The Riviera line. Wouldn't it be great to be able to run from (say) Bristol to Paignton in one go.

Asus Z97-K. Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4 GHz. 3GB NVidia EVGA GTX780Ti. 16GB DDR3 RAM. Sound Blaster Z. Windows 10 64 bit.
2x960GB SSDs, 3x2TB internal HDDs and 2x1TB & 1x2TB external HDDs.
Running TS @ 3840x2160 on a 4k TV.

Re: What would you like to see in 2014?
I completely agree... even better is the tantalising thought of getting from Dundee, through Edinburgh, to Newcastle and York, with the not too distant option of continuing through from York to Peterborough, to link up with the Peterborough to King-X route!davep wrote:I haven't read ALL of the posts in this thread, but what I'd like to see is the facility of joining two routes together.

HOWEVER... I think the practicalities probably make this near impossible as a retrospective 'modification'... I very much doubt any of the routes are built with the level of accuracy to even get the joining tracking in the right vicinity, let alone directly linked up... I like the dream though... maybe a large scale 'community project' supported by some of the third party developers would be a more likely option!?!?
Slowly working on the "Isle of Man Network"!!!

Re: What would you like to see in 2014?
Somone has managed to join WLOS & WCMLS, as both routes share the same tiles for Carlisle.

Really? You must show me!
I thought it would be impossible as scenery tiles are numbered as they are created, not by geographical location, so when you try to combine routes, the same tile names could signify totally different locations.

Re: What would you like to see in 2014?
I cant remember where I saw it, I think it was on a US site.
But like I said, Carlisle is on the same tiles in each route, so there is no conflict other than Carlisle itself.

That is extremely convenient, but we won't be as fortunate with other routes.

Not unless the route authors are clever from the start.
