My wishes for 2014 are only two: First and foremost for DTG and RailDriver folks work to find us more compatibility with raildriver, and secondly, more routes in the US - We need routes that cover Florida, Texas, the South, Chicago and The Washington DC /Baltimore area.

I think DTG should just make their own raildriver sort of hardware. A complete new unit.

Oooo 5 eh?

OK most of that would be southern region, down to Margate and Dover, along the coast, connect Faversham to Ashford, Hastings etc, of course the whole SE and SC from Charing Cross/Cannon Street and London Bridge would be awesome and one of the worlds most gordian of signalling knots... Or filling in at the top end of L2B driving to Waterloo, the lines down to Bromley South and Orpington, Chislehurst interchange, the old Bricklayers arms vast yards that used to exist there, the only sign left of it being the access slope just north of New Cross.

Scotland, och aye, it would be the line from Perth to Forfar via Coupar Angus with the old Blairgowrie, Alyth and Dundee links, maybe Dundee to Aberdeen and across to Inverness and back down to Perth?

West Highland rail is always interesting, the line to Mallaig, Oban, Ballahulish bridge, the old Fort William bridge, when I was a nipper, my dad and my brother and I walked the lifted line along Glen Ogle from Killin Junction, it was just such a breathtaking route which ended when a rockfall smashed the line bed halfway down :( The loneliness of Rannoch Moor station, Crianlarich, yes some lovely route potential there. My dad still has the track detritus we found like LNER and LMS telephone insulators, an old point lever, a rotting distant arm which was too far gone to save but we kept the "eyes" section of it, I imagine its all been well picked clean by now some 40 years later.

But to be honest, I am game for anything to remind me of growing up with BR
There's me, 8 cats, 2 daughters, my PC, a 1958 Li150 Lambretta, a 1985 Vespa T5, a Del Boy van... next year hopefully I will get my sanity certificate too.

A 442 would be most welcome, but preferably the New South Wales version - a nice throaty Alco. Plenty of liveries for re skinning too.

Agree - and a nice route with some 44s & 48s (and a EMD/Clyde 421 would be nice too) to go with it!

If you have 44s and 48s then you gotta have 45s. Preferably around '83 during the Indian Red / Candy transition phase :D

Personally, I'd love to see something from Australia (naturally :))

NSWGR C30/C30T
NSWGR C38
NSWGR Z18
NSWGR C36 (Round top and Belpaire firebox)
NSWGR C38 (streamlined and non-streamlined. Come on! What else can we ask for :D)
NSWGR AD60 4-8-4 + 4-8-4

And of course, we need diesels and freight stock, don't we?

40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 48, 49, 442, and VR B class please!

Lets not also forget the 11,000 or so "S trucks" that we made! (I might actually be starting one soon, granted I can get drawings!
Full HUB set.

And what about the "lectrics?

Sputnick set (Triang made a representation back in '64. Rare as hell now and the price for a 3 set with testify!)
Red Rattler
S set (Bloody terrible thing, no air con, and in all places, Australia!?!?)
V set

and of course the infamous XPT's!

There are even more items that I could've listed, but that'll do it for now! :D :black:

Regards,

Aaron

P.S.

I might have a go at a C30T... Who knows?

Regards,

Aaron

And all that is just for starters.
