Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Dunno off the top of my head, but I'm sure that when I looked last night the 317's were in multiples of 3. As I said....intruiging.

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Ha ha, it did my napper in too. But I completed the scenario in the end so that is it. Mine showed as "copy of" too.

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Is this the beastie?

If so that's the class 365, in scenario editor the Provider/Product boxes are only 'half' ticked---the one to show in list is (eye shaped icon), but the one to make stock available isn't (looks more like a tram than a train). Certainly on my system having this box unticked resulted in crashing and many assets not appearing, ticking the box made everything in the world rosey

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Blimey Gary, if its the 365 it isn't an fcc one then? Because all those showed up, and besides the sound those ghost services made were nothing like the 365.
Besides did you check the passing services with the F6 monitor active? Did this service have a designation? Because the ghosties didn't! And, you're screenie is missing the brake pipes and the yellow oblongs standing up near the couplers.
See here. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =206350305
Look closely and there are only two couplers the others aren't even the same!

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Sorry pal, not having a go at you really, just that it had done me napper in and not even the author knows! I am pretty sure its not the 365 though. But hey, knock yourself out. And if you do crack the mystery please let me know.gptech wrote:I only asked......![]()

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
At this rate you'll hear about me being taken into care before you hear I've figured it out
I'll go with it NOT being the 365, there are too many of 'em and they don't sound like vacuum cleaners (I checked with she-who-knows-about-domestic-stuff) and out of all the stock I have there's not a single item with the brake pipes or stand up blocks that show with the main .Geo *disabled*.
If we go with it being a 3 car set that means it's a 317, but they don't have the brake pipes (unless the model has been seriously updated since I installed it---or the FCC reskins adds child objects........) but the sounds are wrong for them too. The only other items that come close to fitting the bill are the HST's, but they're much too long to only show 3 sets of couplings....
I need a lie down!
Of course it could just be another example of your computer defying the rules

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Forgive me for asking an "obvious" question, but as you have both run this scenario through RWTools, have you tried using the "Remove Empty Consists" function (sorry, can't remember if that is its exact name)?

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
I didn't need to Steve, there were no empty consists reported. My only reason for using RW Tools was to swap the GNER Pendolino for a Virgin one------I cut the *fictional* liveries out a long time ago.
Other than the initial crashing, which I put down to partly being the missing P/P tick everything worked fine for me.
I might just decide the conundrum is all because Martin's PC lies on the junction of 2 alternative realities and strange things happen

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Ha ha haaaa! So Gary matey do you have these several ghost units or not? And secondly I too have run it through rwtools and the only thing missing is the 321 because they are tucked away in the .ap file however I think the mystery has been solved! The author I have noticed has removed the file from UKTS, as stated earlier his readme was not helpfulgptech wrote:I didn't need to Steve, there were no empty consists reported. He did inform on the site download that that "all" the FP packs were required rather than being specific, so I took a guess and installed the FP emu set, now what he didn't say was that you need the separate FCC 317 which I guess he assumed is part of the Pack but apparently not? Since RWTools was throwing that particular set up as missing its geo files? Not knowing that this service was a 317 but something different, threw me, so I downloaded the fcc reskin and pasted the nxea-blue geo's in and hey presto vacuum cleaner sounding 317's appear as the mystery units!Thank you for downloading 2K33.
This scenario is based on the May 2009 WTT.
The Hull trains service has been replaced by a Grand Central as a Pioneer is not available.
The Class 225 GNER services have been replaced by GNER Pendolino as a 225 is not modeled yet.

Re: FCC 2K33 scenario
Interesting, as the download page for the FCC 317 states it's in the freepack. All of no consequence now of course as the mystery's solved.
