If you look at the RSC DB 232 it has the PZB for German Signalling but it does not work.
They have made the 92 cab as it should be but it does not mean that all the controls, gauges, buttons, etc actually work.

True but if they want it to run on London - Faversham then they'd probably add it so you can run between Ebbsfleet and Ripple Lane.
It would be fun if the game was able to accurately simulate OHLE power consumption, as those who double head 2 live 92s would find out why 92s don't double head when live in real life ...

Same for the Class 91's from Leeds-Bradford/Skipton. They use so much power, everything else stops so HST's used.
Ah yes wasn't that the reason that the once a day Skipton - London (and return) was booked for a HST? I seem to recall something about a OHLE power upgrade being done and that's why 91's are now diagrammed on the Skiptons

In the same way a German loco would have German Signalling? You would think so but they didn't.
I would like the TVM430 but I will believe it when I see it.
Still going to get the Loco either way

Which is why it's a pain when you get more than two 92s in the same section on the West Coast. Think this has been overcome now by the updated OHL voltage and additional Earth return Wire installed. Can recall heading south over Carlisle Caldew Jnc from Kingmoor and total power loss. Just had to wait until the guy ahead cleared the Neutral at Upperby.
If the DLFM , FAP Button and ICAR are modelled then there will be some frustrated simmers

On the latest Facebook post from DTG about the Class 91, they were asked if there was any news on the Class 92. They replied "It is due for release towards the end of the month in EWS livery."
Off topic, but when I started at Rugby Powerbox, we had pairs of Class 90s on freight trains too (Class 92s were always hauled dead in them days on WCML South until the summer of 1999 I think). They regularly used to trip the OHLE circuit breakers, but pairs of 86s 'never' used to let me down.
Back on topic - seems little point to me in DTG releasing the Class 92 if it doesn't do what it does in real life. It is quite unique and almost 'iconic' in the UK that it can work on both 25kV OHLE and 650v DC electrification. Should also be released with traditional running and with working TVM430.
For 25kV OHLE running - will be interesting to see if DTG (or anyone) has the ability to script in the shocking performance of these locos with ice on the wires. I did a shift at Watford PSB once and a Class 92 on a modest freight running on the Down Slow line took over an hour to get from Bushey to north of Watford Tunnel. Ice on the wires... Everyone else was 'arcing' and dealing with it, the 92 was scuppered.
We need to wait and see I guess. I'm looking forward to it - just hope it does what it basically should...
That .geopdx file is not a code used by the Rebel Alliance...

"We will have more information about it closer to release towards the end of the month"
So it'll be out around the same time as the 92, but something is supposed to be released tonight, as they said so in a reply to another Facebook post. I think it'll most likely be the Canadian route...
Was hoping for realease just after Xmas sale, if its going to be the end on the month i might as well wait a bit longer and get it in the Easter sale and use the money saved to pick up a couple of German engines.
