Interesting to see that they are using 4 seating positions to model the blunt end cab (something brought in with 2014). The 395 AFAIK is the only other train to have more than 2 in cab positions, with a third one added subtly when updated for 2014. Quite a bit of effort will have gone into producing 3 quite different cabs, which makes it feel very worth the money. Glad to say at this point RCS are exceeding expectations.
This has certainly pushed the must have Needle further up the Clock. Looking forward to the finished package release. Maybe someone will even be able to come up with a way of putting flashing Green aspects on the Route?

As the only section with Flashing Green Signals is between Peterborough and Grantham and that part of the route from Creative Rail is set before the wires maybe not.

I did not quite understand why when you drive from the Blunt End the HUD will show you going in Reverse?

Hi, I think it is because, although you would be looking out of the other end, it would still be the sharp end cab, but an alternative view rather than swappng the whole end over. Could be wrong though! :)

It's because you don't change cabs, you just move to a different seating position in the same cab. A seating position that happens to be at the other end of the loco and facing the opposite way. It's the same as JTs 20, except on that you move to the opposite side of the cab and face the other way. In both cases the controls at both ends will operate and from the sims point of view you will be driving from the normal position just in reverse. It's basically a clever bodge to get around one of the sims limitations (only allowing one cab model per loco).

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for explaining it.

Thats true, but surprised they never mentioned it on the Email ad, seeing as its only the 2nd train that can use it in RW

Interesting with the 92 that some shots show it in plain railfreight grey, whilst some have the EWS logo. Wonder if it will come with both versions? Would be nice.

More information about the TVM and the dual voltage on Class 92, here (in the penultimate paragraph): http://www.engine-driver.com/article/sh ... -simulator

I quote it below:
Increasingly, the trains created for Train Simulator feature more complex system simulations which require some degree of scripting. Examples include switchable head light settings, flashing ditch lights, speed control/cruise control and in-cab signalling systems like the German PZB and LZB and TVM 430, as found on the upcoming Class 92 (the Class 92 required further scripting to replicate the dual voltage switchover among other features). ‘Some of the simplest features represent the greatest challenges: recreating something as straightforward as different head light settings, such as for day and night running, requires a surprisingly challenging amount of scripting.’

Hoping based on the shots we've seen that this will come with an unbranded version as well as one with the EWS logo. Also, like that this seems to have some good advanced features like the centre sprung brake and selectable operating modes. Think like the 91 this will be worth buying even if it's not perfect in all areas (no idea of sounds, or bugs etc yet).
