Have any of the new 'linked' scenarios been made?
If so are they on Workshop and if so what are they called that is different from
ordinary ones.I ask this because I have run some workshop scenarios that go
from one route to another but each has to be loaded separately as before.
I thought that the new system loaded from one to the next

Re: linked scenarios
They still load separately, it's just that as soon as one finishes it starts to boot the next one up. So instead of going to the Drive options it immediately shows you the Top Tips and adverts complete with little blue scroll bar to show the next part loading.
The only time I saw it was when I rushed to finish one scenario in time to go out, and then expected to go back to Main and Quit TrainGame then shut off the PC and go out. Instead it took another age to load the second part of the scenario which I then had to quit and all the palaver... Needless to say Mrs F wasn't impressed in the slightest.

Re: linked scenarios
I used it on a few occasions with 2 parters in the GEML activity pack. It's pretty neat. But with my activities I usually split them due to the length of the activity, making it easier to test and less intensive for AI.. So I'm not sure if mine are the kind of activities that you'd want to play all the way through for 3 hours :p. It works though!
Using it on a new activity that is ending up as 3 parts! So essential really..

Re: linked scenarios
I think it would be essential for something like a diesel gala on a preserved route, as you constantly trip over limitations with the AI and stock/signalling operations if you try to do it all in one. Its something I have considered trying on the GCR, but haven't got around to yet.

Re: linked scenarios
It doesn't work on mid to low spec p.c's as it crashes due to not releasing enough ram on exit of the first scenario!

I have a 2 parter on ECML " Return from the NRM" using an A4 if you're interested. At end of Pt1, Pt2 loads automatically ( 2hrs total) or you can quit Pt1 and do Pt2 later.
John.
Re: linked scenarios
