I see Steam are having a Spring Sale. That's what it says in the Steam ad you get when you quite TS2014, but when you click on an RSC product they say they are having an Autumn sale. Steam must know what part of the world you live in and RSC don't.

Cant say I noticed that but then I'm totally bemused by all this turkey nonsense. Christmas dinner is a month away!

Seriously, why a British company thinks that bombarding British customers with USofA themed hard-sell constitutes a good idea is beyond me.

Yeah, its almost as if they're trying to engage another part if their user base away from the UK which provide plenty of unit sales, how ridiculous :-)

It's a Steam sale, and RSC is therefore part of that. Valve Software, owners/operators of Steam, is American. I don't understand why you are complaining . . do you want the sale or not? Does it matter why?

But for the record, here in the US (I'm British but have been here for over 14 years) Thanksgiving is almost as important as Christmas in terms of family gatherings, and the "meal" is the equivalent of the British Christmas Dinner

Don't knock it or question it . . just appreciate the opportunity!

Yeah having a sale! What a terrible idea! I wonder what other minor petty things we can find to moan about?!

Love it the way a 'tongue in cheek' comment from someone the other side of the world (where it is of course spring) gets people getting out of their prams on here!!

Rats... I saw this thread and was hoping to buy something that went 'boing...'

Seriously looking at Falmouth for the win... having had my curiosity piqued by a Rosgar BR scenario in the download library.

Falmouth is one of my favourite routes, it is very atmospheric. A bargain in my opinion.

Gosh... Paypal... it's just sooooooo easy...

I duly went for Falmouth, and Doncaster Works - at such low prices, it had to be done...

I also made the most of not being able to go to Warley and ventured in with the Class 158 (previously only had the S&C iteration and wondered why so many re-skins failed to load!!!) and the Sheerness extension to L2F/Class 465 too.

Now waiting for it all to download... Come on eff eff ess... download already... Grrrrr...

The other good thing about Paypal, is this 14 day period before it comes out of the bank account. Very useful when payday is close but not close enough and you want something :drinking:

I hate these sales, Brought the GEML + 90 pack as it would of been wrong not to and said that's all I'm getting....

Now I've just brought the 455 to act as a 315.

(Now looking at the 86, 66 and 70 to use on it as well)
