If you have permission from Armstrong Powerhouse then that is okay , clearly pointing that out in the original or subsequent posts would of prevented all these additional posts and questions !

We have been aware of the growing number of reskins of our products requiring payment.
As the model creators we have decided on the following reskin policy

This was unknown to us, apologies for any inconvenience. The skin will be made available for free, those who have paid will get reimbursed and all edits will still be going ahead.

Again, apologies dave and chris from waggonz

Had no idea till I just checked :-?
I don't think the FCC livery is included though? I think it states that the AP scenario pack is required which is required for the FCC 377, therefore the reskin is not included in the pack, so it's a bit different...I think that's how it works I haven't got the pack mind

You are correct, the reskin is not included, but the AP scenario pack is a requirement for the scenario, hence it being down as one of the requirements for the pack.

Scenarios needing scenarios?
Is that just a way of being able to utilise the skins in the extra stock packs?

Would it of not been a better idea to use the RSC FCC377 and not the AP one ? I can't see many people being to happy having to buy a scenario pack from AP to run one of these ones.

Class 90/Mk3 DVT: Copying Mk3 Passenger view from HST

Post by MattH2580 »

Note: This is my first post here, so please be nice :* I tried searching the forums and didn't find anything on this topic, but if I'm wrong, please link the topic and I apologize. I'm also doing all this from my phone, so I apologize in advance if there are any spelling mistakes / autocorrect errors / formatting errors (A 'Wall O Text' could be likely due to my phone sometimes not properly inputting the Return key (I don't understand either).

So, having recently bought the Class 90 for the GEML Ipswitch - London line, despite my instant love of the loco, I was deeply disappointed with regards to the passenger view; there isn't one. I was incredibly frustrated considering the Mk3 coaches that came with the Class 43 HST have a passenger view, even though it is bundled with routes and not a separate purchase. I understand that there must be a reason for this, but still there is a feeling of incompleteness.

Getting to the point, I would like to know how I could copy the passenger view from the Mk3 coaches that come with the HST over to the Class 90's Mk3 coaches. I'm a complete beginner, so please avoid complex loco building jargon.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Regards,

- Matt

Buy a scenario pack from AP for £4.99 and get a number of reskins plus some great scenarios, or buy the FCC377 from RSC for £11.99 and get just the one reskin and a few basic scenarios. I know which one I'd be happier to do. Remember, AP gain by people using their reskins for their own scenarios as it encourages them to buy APs scenarios to get the reskins. The only loosers are RSC who loose sales on their reskins, but that's how the free market works. AP are producing more than RSC for less, and therefore derserve to take custom from them.

Unless I'm mistaken, the extra reskins are free anyway.

The reason I suggested using the RSC one was just to do with permissions as some repainters may not want their stuff in payware or at least in payware they have not given permission for it's use.

The reskins were free, however due to people taking the p* downloading them without purchasing the items that they were originally intended for, AP now omit things such as textures from the extra stock pack and include the missing bits within the relevant payware item.

Please note: Due to the Toxicity of this forum I'll point out that the BOLDED parts are NOT a dig at the poster whom I'm quoting NOR against AP, etc.. The Bolded words are PURELY for emphasis reasons
