Mr deltic all i can do is thank you your repaints are fantastic the level of detail is awesome, on the 20's i wouldnt know what colour green to go for as it does appear to be a very dark shade of green or at least darker than the preserved D8xxx repaints you see around

I'm not sure which one I copied over now, after reading through it over and over I got more confused. Once you've updated the readme I'll go through it again and check.

It is a dark shade of green. I know a few folks with expensive cameras at the time who photographed the tour, a quick visit to their sites should do the colours proper justice.31160 wrote:Mr deltic all i can do is thank you your repaints are fantastic the level of detail is awesome, on the 20's I wouldn't know what colour green to go for as it does appear to be a very dark shade of green or at least darker than the preserved D8xxx repaints you see around

For the 31 BR Grey HC you copy the Class_31.GeoPcDx file from inside the BR Blue folder.Ajay1 wrote:deltic009 wrote:Sorry, that comes with doing the readme at 2am! I'll get updated versions uploaded so thanks for letting mW know but you did copy the right one.johnwatto wrote:Ajay1

Re: About time I gave something back
I've been alerted to a problem with 31101 missing it's relevant .bin file, so I have uploaded a new zip file that should fix the problem with the installation of the .rwp file. apologies once again for the oversight.

Re: About time I gave something back
A very BIG thankyou from me for the repaints as the 31 has always been my favourite loco. I don't suppose a BR Green skinhead reskin would be possible...pretty please! (You'd make an old man very happy......) Thanks again, Malcolm

Have a look through the library; there's a green version (by Ad Burgess I think) and whilst it's based on the headcode box model the textures DO fit the 'skinhead'---it's what I use.
I can't remember having to alter anything when I installed it, so it's worth a shot to start with.

Hello gptech would the same system work on the box head dutch livery turning it into a skin head version and i think then we will have a pretty full set

About time I gave something back
Great work, Deltic
I did have a go at the Ochre ones but was never happy with the lining I did. I can see the work that has gone into the voyager, and I know how time consuming sorting decals can be! Great effort.
One rare oddity was the Chromatic Blue late logo 31...

Re: About time I gave something back
Basically, yes---but I may be over simplifing things: Matthew did post earlier that he'd had to tweak odd bits such as lamp brackets. If you have a roof texture that's the right colour in one of the other reskins then you wouldn't have to *smooth* things out around where the headcode box would be, just simply swap the roof texture for a skinhead version.31160 wrote:.....would the same system work on the box head dutch livery turning it into a skin head version
When I get back to a TS enabled PC I'll have a proper look and try and remember just what I had to alter, if anything.
(With luck Matthew will beat me to it and save me a job...

Re: About time I gave something back
A skinhead version of the Dutch livery will work, albeit with the need to swap the roof texture for the one from the Large Logo engine. Unless you wanted something 'special' doing with the livery it wouldn't be a long job, so ...watch this space...gptech wrote:Basically, yes---but I may be over simplifing things: Matthew did post earlier that he'd had to tweak odd bits such as lamp brackets. (now to convince Matthew to drop everything else and knock out a Dutch skinhead...)
