Wow Wobbly Track WCML
Running the Class 90, doing the Keep Moving scenario, just south of Abington I think it is called heading north the track starts to get wobbly, and in some parts the other side of Abington it is so bad that I think in real life the train would derail.

It's been there since first release. I've looked at trying to fix it but can't seem to iron it out. I just put up with it now.
Re: Wow Wobbly Track WCML
Yes its been there from day one - however I hope to be running AP's Class 31 scenario with the Network Measurement Train over the WCML sometime this weekend so that will no doubt flag it up for the permanent way engineers - in the meantime it probably needs a temporary speed restriction at the very least!
A minor issue in the overall scheme of things but an irritant nevertheless.
Without doubt WCML is still in my opinion the most satisfying route in my collection given the extensive and diverse scenario potential that it provides.
Regards
Peter

Ha
I even made a fictional engineering scenario about that section of track. It's in need of a good repair!

It's probably the known bug of physics. On certain bogie, wheel distance ratio will make the physics oscillate on a certain tract curvature. So basically each rolling stock have it's own frequency in the game
and if the curvature matches to this, it will start to wobble.

Could be, but it happens on a dead straight section. I've been through it all with Route Editor in the past and played with al the track unevenness parameters, but it just doesn't seem to want to go away. Never mind eh.
