Sounds like a lot of bother just to play a couple of scenarios. Half the fun's to be had in creating them anyway so I've banked that already.

Can only say I'm glad the 'local flavour' idea never caught on. Not sure I could stomach 'knees up mother Brown' belting out every time I went through Clapham...

Just ran the Waverly Dundee return scenario 3hrs-13-38 mins 119-68 miles apart from speeding a few times and going through a couple of reds because I couldn't stop in time everything was ok. I tried doing it the other day with a save at Dundee but got an AI derailment error at Luchars.

I don't think the Fat Controller would see it that way. :D

Interesting site that Mully's, brings back a lot of memories of being shunted around Edinburgh while trying to get some sleep on the Caledonian sleeper from Inverness to London, never seem to remember getting shunted on the way back north tho!

Some of the smoothest rail journeys I have done, on the sleepers to/from Inverness and London. Loved waking up to a nice cuppa as we pulled into Aviemore. Found an anomoly in the price structure of the Caley Sleeper in that it was cheaper to go first class than to go standard, and I have a nice collection of bedtime reading to boot, plus you could use the showers in the first class lounge when you arrived in London.

Wanted to play that one myself but got the following message: -

Consist Builder - cant load rail vehicle - GNER Mk3 TSO

Consist Builder - cant load rail vehicle - GNER Mk3 TSO

Consist Builder - cant load rail vehicle - GNER Mk3 TFO

Consist Builder - cant load rail vehicle - GNER Mk3 TFO

Tried swapping with RW Tools but got another message then (didn't write that one down though) about modified consist broken or similar? :(
Is your Scottish ECML updated to the latest service pack? Other than that try uninstalling the scenario, clear your cache, and then re-installing it.
The GNER HST is included in the route so should not need swapping out.
As Gptech suggests, running it from editor may work, although you may not actually have to move anything.

Tried what you suggested (deleted, cleared cache, reinstalled, cleared cache and tried to run it) but got the same message and list for the GNER HST.

I then tried to run from editor but again the same message.

I tried again and this time noticed that the editor opened at Perth where there was a GNER HST parked in Platform 1 - I tried what gptech suggested and (although I had not swapped the items this time) moved each one about a little, saved and tried the scenario....it loaded and worked...just had a trial trip to see if it was ok down to and leaving Perth...all still OK!

However: - I have got the issue mentioned earlier in this thread; I have missing platforms, bridge sections and roads! and milk bottles dotted around. I noticed comments here about settings so will have a play with those and see if it improves....

Sorry to bore everyone but thanks for your help/advice thus far!

Hi, if you've got milkbottles, have you also installed the stirling extension Scenery available from DPSimulation?

Yep - and when I go to run the scenario the route tile/picture has SP5 on it. Adjusted some settings (my machine cant run well with TSX on though) and still bits missing but scenarios will run.

Totally baffled by this, loaded it up in case the HST was too close to the signal, but that was ok. Guess it's just one of those random quirks that come up sometimes!

Unless anyone else reports a problem we're going to leave this one as it is for now, as you have got it running. If we change anything there is a risk of breaking it for others.

If you do get any further problem let us know, and we will look again.
