Blueprint Editor 2 - Keyboard Shortcuts

Post by wacampbell »

The new Blueprint Editor 2 has some useful keyboard shortcuts. Some are documented, some I've seen mentioned on the forums and some I just stumbled on myself. I am sure others may have found additional ones as well.
I thought I'd start a thread to gather the info in one place.

Here's a start:

[ Ctrl S ] save the blueprint
[ Ctrl Shift S ] save all open blueprints
[ Alt F4 ] close Blueprint Editor 2

[ Ctrl Z ] undo when editing a blueprint field
[ Ctrl Y ] redo an undo
[ Ctrl X ] cut text from blueprint field, or delete an element from a list
[ Ctrl C ] in file window copy a file, or in blueprint window copy the selected level of the blueprint
[ Ctrl V ] in file window past a new copy of the file, or in blueprint window, past values into the selected level of the blueprint

These work in the file window or the blueprint window - click on an outline level first.
[ Numpad - ] close the outline at the selected level
[ Numpad + ] expand the outline at the selected level
[ Numpad * ] expand entire outline below the selected level
[ Delete ] in file window deletes file or directory, in blueprint window deletes an element from a list

[ Doubleclick ] In file window launches the program associated with this file.

[ Ctrl A ] select All ( I haven't found what this is for yet )
[ Ctrl F ] find ( I haven't found what this is for yet )

Please add any additional one's that you've found.

The TS2014.1 patch ( Oct 17, 2013 ), brought us some new keyboard shortcuts ...

[ F8 ] preview the current blueprint
[ F7 ] export the current blueprint
[ Ctrl Alt F7 ] export 'forced' the current blueprint

Very NICE!!!!

Just a correction.

[ F8 ] preview the current blueprint ( this appears in the file menu, but the shortcut key doesn't actually work )
