One of the new features of Blueprint Editor 2 ( BPE2 ) is the ability to double click on an item in the outline window to launch its corresponding editing program.
I have found this little feature has really improved my workflow. I am using BPE2 instead of explorer as the primary way to navigate to my source files and to launch Blender and Paintshop Pro. With the older editor I found myself keeping a windows explorer window open alongside the editor, and having to keep them in sync as I moved from directory to directory in the project. With BPE2, you just have its single explore window open enabling all your file editing, along with running Previews and Exports.
I also found it handy to drop batch files into the source folder for such tasks as creating the .ace files and running Shadermap to create bump maps etc. These can also be launched by double clicking them in the BPE2 outline window.
Very nice RSC!
