I did a scenario on the London to Brighton with the Southern 377.
Afterwards I wanted to set up a run on the WCML-N route but having selected the RSC/L2B folder I could not pick the unit.
So I did a Quick Drive with the 377 from Glasgow to Motherwell without any problems.
Any ideas please as to why the 377 would not appear?
Thanks
Peter

Re: Stock going missing
By 'not appear' do you mean not showing in the available stock list, or wouldn't actually be selectable to place on the track?
Re: Stock going missing
Assets may appear on the stock list, but when selected, they do not appear on-track in the editor.
Things like that could happen with rolling stock that depended on foreign parts, like couplers. I have not checked that in 2014.

Re: Stock going missing
I 'checked' the London to Brighton folder in the right side flyout but the class 377 did not appear in the available stock list - nor the 450 which comes with L2B for AI at Clapham.gptech wrote:By 'not appear' do you mean not showing in the available stock list, or wouldn't actually be selectable to place on the track?
In the RSC/London to Brighton Asset folder the 377 & 450 are still there
Not sure why it should not show.

Hi, it's possible that the sim now filters between 3 rail and overhead in the electric category rather than just electric.

One other thing to check is that the third column in the object set filter (the one with the "eye" symbol at the top) is also checked. This acts as a show/hide filter for enabled stock, and if unchecked any rolling stock for that provider will not be visible in the available stock list

Re: Stock going missing
FoggyMorning - I think the Third coloumn was ticked as it seems to tick automatically when the middle column is ticked.
markpullinger - I think you should be able to place the unit in the scenario - even if it won't work afterwards
But thanks for the ideas
Silly thing is I have a scenario from DPS where a 156 is supposed to run a local service on WCML-N vice a failed EMU.
Not having a 156 I swaped it to the 377, which is there on test
, and it runs perfectly.
I will have another go tonight.
