The old Austrian route, Innsbruck to St Anton would be my favourite! Set in that same time of the 1920, of course, with steam.
Well, I would love to see any route set in the interbellum, or very early 20st century / late 19th century.
But remaking Innsbruck - St Anton, with more extensions on the branch lines, more variety of rolling stock of that place and era, and up to modern standards - that would be a great start!

There is WHL for MSTS? Anyone know where I may find it?

I have never used MSTS but have always hoped that someone would do the Yorkshire Coast route,
John.

Probably won't be the correct era and maybe not to the same standard but I think that Burton and Derby will eventually encompassed in my current route. At this rate I'll be laying tracks for half a year though!

Hi Matthew,
Yes I've been keeping a close eye on your progress with your Route.
As you say, a different era, but an interesting part of the country to re-create giving plenty of scope for Scenarios.

North Wales Coast would be heaven... As would a southern WCML between Euston and Nuneaton/Covetry with pre-West Coast Route Mod track layout. I'd also fancy a marketed/finalised version of South Devon Banks.
I'm getting bored of 'plastic fantastic' just like real life. Though I have enjoyed WLOS and the wonderous array of standard steam locos.
Agreed, modern railways just don't do it for me. All this plastic multiple unit rubbish is driving me potty! They're all near enough the same, just another identikit 'runaway carriage' with combined power and brake, pulln'go! I so miss the real world days of domination by locomotive hauled services. In Railworksland we've seen a winding down of classic diesels and electrics. Sadly, many of them were produced in the sims infancy and most have never been revamped or revisited. All we tend to see now is either steam engines or modern plastic runaway carriages.
North Wales Coast would be amazing, West Highland Line would by my idea of heaven as indeed would a commercial version of South Devon Banks. Someone at work this morning (who has no interest in railways, nor do they know of my dark secret) was saying they travelled by train at the weekend from Plymouth to Exeter and couldn't believe how stunning the scenery is. They said it's the most scenic route they've ever travelled, particularly the sea wall sections at Teignmouth/Dawlish and that's on a fast mainline too, not some obscure branchline!
Sadly a lot of commercial developers seem to shy away from the more challenging and diverse routes and instead we see lots of bland, straight line running only. GEML being a recent prime example. Even the mighty WCMLN is deathly boring in large parts between Carlisle and Carstairs. I'd love to see more routes that are loaded with unique scenery and/or challenges. Routes like Woodhead, the western expanses of WLOS etc.

Lime St - Euston and North Wales Coast for me.
However, if RSC was to do NWC they would probably go for a modern version. That route is best in it's earlier years as there is more scope for scenarios i.e. freightliner to Holyhead and the sheds and sidings at Rhyl, Llandudno Junction, Bangor & Holyhead - plus some sections were 4 track - nowadays, it's just an A-B passenger route with a couple of branch lines with minimum freight and the odd special charter
I'd be happy to see Lime St - Euston modern day. Freight services still exist and we have higher speed limits than in the Thames - Mersey era of MSTS. Although would love to see the traction of yesteryear on the line.......(when/if we finally do see the route in TS)

One day this will cover it, I've laid track from Redcar to Whitby West cliff and have the data required to go to Scarborough and Malton, Tracklaying is the easy part but there's obviously a ton of scenery to add

Loved Thames-Mersey and Burton-Derby - would very much like to see these in TS.
Nice to hear that YCR is 'in the works' as I enjoyed the activities with the diesels on that and running other 'fictional' stock on it!
