Class 66 Powerhaul FTA wagons missing in update.

Did the Powerhaul 66 come with FTA wagons? Because before the update when I checked the Class pack05 filter I had FTA wagons and consists including them and the 66 Powerhaul. Since the update they are missing. I checked my backup and they are in the "RSC\Class66Pack05\RailVehicles\Freight\FTA" folder.

I thought it was an odd update thing so I totally reinstalled Train sim and they are gone still.

Now, when I copied them over to TS2014 from my backup my activities would load again (they were missing before) But there would be CRAZY graphical artifacts when looking in the direction of the Powerhaul train at Ipswich. If I deleted the train the artifacts would go away. So something must have been missing when I copied them from the backup?

So what's going on!?
Problem? Or did I pick them up from somewhere else? :\

I believe the Powerhaul 66 pack includes both FSA and FTA wagons, so if I'm right they should be present.
I'm also pretty sure there's another thread where missing FTA's has been mentioned, but can't find it now (I know...as much use as a chocolate firegaurd at times)
Crazy graphics could be if you don't have the _.sbn and associated .MD5 files copied over, might be worthwhile copying the entire Powerhaul folder rather than just the files that seemed to be missing.

Can confirm FTA was available in pre 2014 update.

I have an FTA folder that is empty now after the update! The FSA folder seems ok.

This is why it is always a good idea to make a backup before a RSC update. They were missing for me aswell but I just copied over the backup and all is fine.

I deleted the empty FTA folder. Ran a verify files. No replacement FTA folder. It seems to be missing from the Steam/RSC update!

I will just have to do what I did with 2013. Check for all the items removed by Steam and then Install my missing items from back ups.

Have any of you stopped to bother to email RSC and say the items are missing, because like before people complain on the forum and RSC doesn't get the reports and in turn they cannot talk to steam and have the packs sorted out like a previous episode where a number of DLC dissapeared which was down to a glitch on steam's end. Steam will automatically delete things if it believes your not supposed to have them and if a glitch has appeared for the FTAs saying your not then its going to remove them, its how steam works.

What exactly are these files? (.sbn and .MD5) I see a lot of them in my folders but they don't seem to be able to be opened?

No idea exactly what they contain, but they're files relating to DRM and therefore your rights to have the assets on your machine. I've no doubt the copy protection is more 'robust' than just a couple of files so I'd assume they cross-reference something else, but however it all works without them you're 'dazzled'

Interesting idea but I doubt that as they are not present in all asset or content folders..

They relate to the Steam copy protection so are only in DLC purchased from Steam
