People are forgetting that the First Group used to be called First Bus. When the trains had the green colour they had the First Bus Logo on transfers on the door windows on Class 321's. The name First Group and First Great Eastern came later.
And before that, Badgerline, but that's for another type of enthusiast's forum!! :P

You listed one 320 livery, what about:
Strathclyde Orange and Black, as seen here: http://www.therailwaycentre.com/EMU%20p ... 320_Orange
and Strathclyde Maroon & Cream: http://www.therailwaycentre.com/EMU%20p ... strath_mar

But Richard, that's a lovely model. I can't wait to see it!

Looking forward to running these up and down the GEML, just so I know, do they run the full stretch or limited station?

They run between just about everywhere :P Ipswich - London, there are rush hour services which go as far as Norwich (But not covered by the route of course), also run between Southend and Liverpool Street via Shenfield. Used on both the Walton and Clacton on sea branches.

Greater Anglia has about 94 class 321s where as they only have about 20 Class 360s :p That'l put it in perspective.

I know quite a few people don't visit Facebook (don't blame you to be honest), but there's a first shot of the 321 cab below:

I have no problems with people comparing it to the RSC cab if they wish to do so.

Basically different variants of cab but I love the weathering you have done on yours Jordi, looks great.

Wow! I love how "organic" that looks, it looks less like a sterile computer game model and more like the real thing. Am I the only one who particularly likes the simple things such as the throttle, brake and horn black ball handle ends having just the right amount of sheen, and a fully modelled phone cord?

I'm so glad someone noticed those two things- they each took about a day to get right! I made four attempts at the modelled phone cord before it looked somewhat natural. Unfortunately the shot on facebook doesn't it justice, but I've also include dust/finger prints on the gauge glass, and fully customized specular texture so each part of the cab reacts differently when light hits it, so dirt/scratches etc will be highlighted. In fact I noticed with the real cab there are certain dirt patterns and weathering are only visible when light hits from the right angle (ala specular), and as such I have duplicated that in the specular textures.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words everyone- the next cab preview should be a lot better.

A true artist. I really appreciate that sort of detail and thoughtfulness that goes into the textures. :D

The Cab screenshot on the preview on AP's Facebook page is brilliant and looks like a great unit.

Are you sure you're not just trying to pass of an actual picture of a 321 cab as a screenshot, because that's what it looks like :D

my warmest sympathies to anyone who ever took one of these from london to norwich. i had to go from ipswich to london once and that was bad enough!!

I made an activity based on one of the few 321 services to Norwich. It's 1P48, 1702 from Liverpool Street. Currently uses a 360 but will be changed to a 321 when available :). Wanted some 321 activities ready for it so I could get it running on GEML in as realistic a setting as possible. The activity will be out Friday in a GEML pack if you fancy it but with a 360 for time being! I really can't wait for the 321, I've got a lot of work in RW_tools to do when it's here. Most of the 360's will rightfully become 321's.

I fondly (wrong word here surely) remember getting on 321's at Colchester, probably NXEA and before, where you would hit the seat and dust would fly out. I'm so glad GA gave them a proper cleaning :p
