I was unsure why there seemed to be nothing about the AP 321 on the Steam TS forums. Earlier today I saw a new post mentioning it, by just a standard user asking for peoples opinions.. It had two replies one by myself.

Later today I see it has been removed..

Are they really removing every mention of content that isn't on Steam or by themselves from the forums?! This seems shocking behaviour to me, not letting your fanbase discuss things.

Imagine you meant the community hub bit? Under there rules about not posting for things for 3rd Parties. Although does that apply under the General bit? The orginal steam forums, there is a thread about the 321 on it.

Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.

I didn't know there was still the original steam forums. Clicking 'forum's when you select TS2014 in your game library is the forum i'm on about. If theres still a stray one then it's not really very accessible or known about anymore.

Easily accessible if you know where to look - try http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/f ... .php?f=619

Im having a problem with the first scenario on GEML Ipswich starting from Liverpool street. The clock is running at about 1/2 speed. I know
the scenarios are quite resource heavy but even lowering the detail dosnt alter the slow running. I have no problems with any of the other
scenarios, just this one. Any ideas appreciated.

If you mean 1F04, it gets better once you leave Liverpool Street. (For me anyway)

I only stumbled upon it yesterday when I had to re-download a previous purchase from AP. As expected, it's fantastic; all we need know is the elusive 91* and the new ECML route will really come into its own.

*and a 180.

and a 317

and a 313.

But best not to be greedy.

Is there no passenger view with the AP 321? I always think it's good to have some sort of pass view as it gives a different outlook on a route. I think I'll stick with the RSC 321 for now as I think it was one of their better pieces of rolling stock. But, the AP one does look awesome to drive and is graphically very nice!

I noticed that virtually all the platforms at Liverpool Street are full with services that leave after you have left, some of which you can't see from the cab. I have tried to remove some of these in a clone of the scenario and had better results. I probably need to go back to the original to make sure that I didn't delete a service which may appear later in the scenario.

I've spent a long time on GEML and for me when creating activities i'd always get crashes placing stock in Colchester depot and occasionally at Liverpool Street. When driving however I rarely had any problems.. until 321.

In the TSS GEML activity pack I have two activities that are supposed to be 321s and were made with the intent to update them. I have now updated them and noticed the change in not performance but stability. In 1P46 on one occasion I got only as far as Stratford then got a seemingly random crash.

My guess is the TS engine can't cope with such an awesome product. Especially when you've got 75% of AI services class 321's also.

When swapping the 321's in I kept getting a crash right after the editor loaded. Quite a few times. Until one time it just worked. I think clearing the cache seems to work but I don't know if it's just a placebo.. anyone?

I have never had a chance to use a passenger view except for maybe a few seconds. If TS was like Trainz and you could jump on AI services then i'd use it lots more. But having to drive a train from a passenger view stresses me out too much :P Maybe it's because i'm always on quite intensive activities.

Surely the fact the AP 321 is superior to drive is the most important aspect considering it's supposed to be a simulator? You can always swap the RSC one in for the leisurely journeys unless you really do use passenger view all the time.

I too noticed this, but didn't think to delete some services that may not even interact with the player service...

Having applied the patch tried to resume a scenario today. Cannot get the pantograph to raise no matter what I do. Is this a known issue for anyone?

How do you watch for signals whilst sitting in the passenger section of the coach?

Maybe a model of the DLR is reqired to do two things at once :)

Loving the 321... however when I go to play on any of the GEML scenarios I get an error about the Class 90 and Mk3s...

Image

Cannot load rail vehicle MK3a BlueWhite ... and so on.
I've installed all the relevant 90 and mk3 pack and addons from the 321 pack, so i'm most confused...

Any ideas?

Ta.

The problem is only while waiting at the platform in Liverpool street. Once clear of the station everything runs fine, even with loads of passing AI traffic.
Strange!!
