Yeah, not how we wanted it but consistency with RSCs other products forced us to change it.
Luckily someone has remapped the Steam 90s to our preferred control method

Dave, hypothetical question only, what would the stance be on a reassignment of textures from the GEML pack to newly created 'reskin' ones of the original 90 pack. I'm certainly not fond of toe-treading either legally or morally, but am always keen to help the community as well...

I would say, if you wanted to offer a GA reskin for the AP sold 90 you would have to modify a texture "from" the AP sold pack.

Yep, I'm hearing that and without having compared the two there's nothing to assume that it would necessarily be a harder job to do it that way. Appreciate the clarification.

Apparently I now need to shell out for the blue and white one from RSC. I didnt even know there was a blue and white version. Also where do I find the ex-FGE 360 that is required. I did start to swap it all out with RWTools but then I lost the will to live when I realised how much swapping needed to be done.
Are there that many Class 90's used in the scenario?

I wonder why AP did not use their own Class 90 in the Scenarios?
Both of the class 90's are AP/Waggonz but they've used the GEML 90 because it is the right skin for the route, unfortunately for some that only have one pack this does prove to be a problem, still both the packs are worth buying in my mind at least.
I don't think both packs are worth buying. The Original AP/Waggonz is the best. :)
The GEML 90 is only right if you are setting the scenario today. Turn the clock back to 2007 I don't think the infrastructure has changed much since then.

You have the Class 90 in One, the 317, 321 and 360 in FGE. Classes 60,66,86 & FLT 90.

Having enormous fun with this pack!

However I have a query about the sounds. Could anyone who uses the class 321s regularly in real-life could possibly compare the traction motor sound levels, particularly when starting up from the station, and whether the AP321 seems a little on the quiet side?
Maybe just me but even so.

I would think that they are actually a bit loud...

You must remember, the end cars are driving trailers so there are no motors in them... So technically, you shouldn't hear the motors unless you open the windows... But I haven't been in the cab to honestly say it's correct. If I didn't know the units and their formation, driving in the cab I would assume the cab car is motorized just by the presence of the motor sounds.

That's just me with my experience of driving in a motor coach...

I generally find that, when travelling in the end coaches of a real 321, you can faintly hear the traction motors coming from the MSO (although obviously they're much louder if the windows are open). Whether it's any different in the cab, I couldn't say.

This is also our experience. Believe me, if the motors were under the cab you would definitely know about it :P. Unfortunately though, it wasn't possible to make the motors louder within the cab when the window is open without making the simulator load 12 different motor samples simultaneously which we didn't think would be very good for memory consumption for what is a small feature.

One think I noticed when driving the unit, If you reduced power from notch 4 to 3 or 2 the unit reduced power.
Can they actually do that? I was under the impression that, like the Southern 4Cig/4Vep etc, you could only go to a lower notch via Off.

Had a look on http://www.locodocs.co.uk/ but no EMU's.

The 321 era of units can do that as they use later technology compared to the camshaft of CIGs/VEPs/455s etc.
