Just Trains : Can't get past Authentcation page

I recently bought the Scottish East Coast Mainline from just trains as a download but when I get to the authentication page after downloading it and when after I type in my username and password and then click "login" nothing happens. I tried redownloading it but again nothing happens. I'm not sure if its just my computer (windows 7) or not but I would be grateful if someone could help me out.

Thanks

Best thing to do would be to drop JT an e-mail

When I had a similar problem I found that my firewall was blocking internet access to the installer, I temporarily disabled the firewall and managed to install the package. I had this occur on a couple of JT packs. I am using the Virgin Media branded internet security on my PC which I think is a rebranded Trend Micro product.

I dropped JT a email so waiting for a reply and disabling my firewall doesn't work so I was wondering if nothing works can I get my money back as I haven't installed the route on to my computer just downloaded it.

I think last time I had this problem, it was my version of Internet Explorer at fault - I was using 8 and I should have used 9 I think.

I am sure Just Trains can sort things out. I have always had first class support from them.

I am a little concerned that within 2 posts the question of getting money back surfaces without really giving Just Trains a chance to respond so I will continue to monitor this thread.

Cool. I understand and do trust that JT can come up with a solution.

Actually JT have offered me a refund on a route I'm having problems with. I have not decided what to do yet as there is maybe a chance they can fix it. Actually not a refund but a choice of another route to the same value or if it is any more I pay the difference.
:)

Check your Internet options in control panel you may have to lower the default settings particularly the pop up blocker option. I have to do this as my day to day settings won't allow JTs Auth page either. Take a note of your original settings and return them to original after it authorises. It works for me every time. Cheers

Hi,

Please do contact our support team if you are having problems, via http://www.justtrains.net/support-contact - issues like this seem to usually be related to security settings in either your browser or an external security/firewall program that is being too strict.

Thanks,

Simon
