Is anyone writing more scenarios for this? Would love to see one using the Simtrain SBB1 rolling Stock...and the Re 4/4.
AFAIK the Re4/4 would only be seen between Rorschach & Lindau.

Thank you Peter, good to know.... I would love to put it in there....just because I love the Re 4/4 model loco. (will likely break some rules and drive it on out as well)

But I really would like to know the authentic rolling stock of this route what other loco's would be on this route? I would think maybe the ES 64 U? Would love more info from someone who knows. What other loco stock available from various other DLC would be compatible to this route? I sadly have never had the chance to travel to this region, this is as close as I currently can get.

Please look here and download the alternative scenario set created by the route builder himself:

http://rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index.php ... ck-strecke

In its description you will see what rolling stock (payware and freeware) you need to get. These scenarios provide a much more realistic experience although still many prototypical locos are missing...

Thank you SO MUCH for this.... I bought the trains, and got the extra content, and these scenerios 400% improvement, lots of variation, just an incredible experience. Took a bit of a learning curve to get the Taurus going.....and I still have issue with the PSB LZB stuff.....but I just turned it off, until I can learn controls better. Really loving this route, these scenerios, and the Taurus train!!!

Most of the passenger services are worked by OBB 1016 & 1116 locos.
The older 1044 locos are still seen on the line and the 1042/1142 locos used to be seen - and might still be.

Railworks Austria has some OBB locos and stock.

PZB/LZB even !

Have driven several more of these alternate scenerios I just can not recommend these enough. Scenery is just much richer with the authentic rolling stock, and the HRQ Taurus ES64 U is just an incredibly fun e-lok...

I have another question on this route in terms of freight vs passenger speeds....is it the same as the system on the DB? In other words when using freight how are line speeds effected on the Swiss and OBB lines for freight?

The manual says the speed limit is Switzerland is 130kmh or lower.
I do not think there are any passenger/freight speed differentials you just run the freight up to it's maximum speed which is about 130kph.

The OBB 1042 locos only have a top speed of 130kph so are unable to reach the line speed.

What do you think they do on the DB?

Also in regard to an earlier question about the stock on the line have a look at this page

I think that the majority of freight trains run at 90 or 100kmh in most of europe, some container/intermodals run at 120 kmh. In other words pretty similar to freight speeds in the uk. Most EU wagons have their running speed marked on them.
