I was going to take avantage of the sales and buy the HSC for somewhere to use my K4s and US diesels, but I don't know if it's worth the money, even at discount. Can anybody give me good & bad bits about it, and if it's worth buying, eben just for the assets. Thanks alot.

I'd say it's worth it.
Also bear in mind it's the only RSC provided route so far that ISN'T British AND is age-appropriate* for steam locos (although why they only did the K4 I don't know).
*age-appropiate = set during the time frame the stock was in use, not during preservation

If you want to compare it to a British route it is there with London to Brighton. I find it is very frame rate friendly and comes with new US railway workshops and signal boxes along with some 50's style houses. Plus you have the PRR signals. You also get two locos and I think it is four or five wagons. I brought it at full price as somewhere to run my Norfolk Southern locos and I don't regret it so it is worth getting at half price.

Alright, thankyou both. Bought it and snapped up the 2 new US steamers at £2.39 each, not bad. Thanks again.
