Is it me, or are the discounts lower for stuff I haven't got compared to what I do have? :-?

well in my list i have the following

Settle - Carlise (had a look on you tube thought it looked really good and plenty of skope for scenario craeting)

locos:

Class 455 SWT i love the portsmouth route so this is nice plus i travel on these every day
Class 101 SPT whats the better version is it the blue grey or the spt reason i am thinking SPT is i have the WCMLN route
Class 156 Nice little loco and loads of workshop scenarios require this loco
4CIG/4VEP NSE again for the porstmouth direct line which one of these is better

I've got my without sorted now, a couple are in there purely for the discount, but most is stuff I absolutely positively must have in order to survive (or so I'm telling my wife). Quite pleased that notwithstanding any flash sales, the full price is £59.01 anytime until July 22nd instead of full RRP of £121.91!

Routes
Edinburgh to Glasgow - £12.49 instead of £24.99
Western Lines Scotland - £14.99 instead of £24.99

Rolling Stock
Class 325 - £3.59 instead of £11.99
Class 76&77 - £4.79 instead of £11.99
S&C specials - £9.99 instead of £19.99
Green/Gold HST - £1.19 instead of £2.99
UP Big Boy - £2.39 instead of £11.99
Class 31 (TSX) - £4.79 instead of £11.99
Class 156 pack - £4.79 instead of £11.99

The Big Boy is in there for being so cheap (and such an iconic loco) as is the Fag Packet HST.

Settle and Carlisle
Edinburgh to Glasgow with EWS+FL class 08 bundle for £16.50
EWS + FL class 66
FL class 70
FL class 57

Going to have a blast with this lot and looking forward to creating some DLC heavy, modern activities for E-G, WCML and S+C. Just need to dig out all my Freightmaster books

Hoping for either Northeast Corridor or Cologne-Dusseldorf to be a daily or flash deal with a bigger discount.

Only the "Base Game" would be a flash deal, DLC doesn't usually end up being 'flashed'. Some really odd discounts, and the Class 50 / old 31 pack not discounted at all. Not grumbling as it's a sale after all :)

Got the centipede as this looks to be well featured with cold and dark start up. Look forward to trying it tomorrow.

Had a nightmare with crashing loads of time and now when I thought it was all going to go through OK it says my card has been declined! Hope this is still a heavy usage issue....although just bought a cheap Kindle book with the same card and that went through OK....have to try again tomorrow (after checking with my bank just in case!)

Nothing much for me as I have got most of whats on sale which is of interest too me. I think what they put on sale is what they have mostly sold.

I wonder why they are selling London to Faversham off at £5 when it is one of their most recent routes yet Cologne to Dusseldorf (short distance and no custom rolling stock) for instance is £14.99? I just wonder (and hope) that it might mean a part 2 of Kent Highspeed with the rest of HS1 is on the way in the near future. I.e. they want as many people as possible to own London to Faversham so that they would be able to buy a part 2. I have never seen a route sold off for £5 before, particularly with such a terrificly made EMU, TVM430 signalling and so many other custom assets. Just seems really odd! What do people think?

Immediately thought of this...

I had put link to Hitler Meme for Steam Summer sale.....but I have removed it because not sure if linking to a video (even though meant as humorous) that has strong language is violation of the rules. I do not wish to offend anyone or seem to be circumventing language policy.
