Hi,

Does anybody else have a problem with the F7 key not displaying consist info?

I need to know if I'm the only one? Support are driving me mad at the moment. Two months ago there was a problem with it apparently!! But not now, apart from me!

Thanks

You need to press F6 first then F7, but F7 does nothing. It should display consist Numbers, as it did in the past, but as I said, not for me.

Thanks

The F7 key will not always reveal info. about the consists you see on the screen. It only works if the consists are "relevant" to the scenario. For example, if you have to shunt a series of wagons amongst other wagons, the F7 key SHOULD show just the wagons you need to work with. Useful if you have lots of wagons amongst others in a variety of sidings! How, exactly, the creator of the scenario indicates this, I don't know. In some types of scenarios (Quick Drive, Free Roam) there will be no consist info. In some scenarios such as Single Player (and possibly Career, but I don't play these) it seems to depend on the creator of the scenario if this info is available. Hopes this helps?

In the route building editor (pick any route), click the monitor icon on the top left flyout and then take a look at the right hand flyout that appears. Check everything is ticked, even though you probably won't need/want them all, then load up any scenario, try F7 again and see if that changes anything. It reminds me of a time when I randomly lost the points' blue circle icons on the route map, therefore I was unable to change any manual points via the route map. I hadn't done anything to cause this change, as far as I know, it just seemed to be completely random, and this may be a similar case for you.

Thank you, problem solved. Still strange how they un-ticked themselves.
