I cannot couple any locos (47,37 etc) to Mk3 IC coaches. As far as I know this is all default stock? any ideas?

Hi, are these HST Mk3 coaches you are trying to couple to? If so you will need coupling override set in main menu - game play options as they are probably different couplings.

If they are the default Mk3s they are for use with the HST only they will have the wrong type of couplers for use with the class 47 and 37.

Thanks for the replies. Coupling override is already on. Are the HST mk3 IC coaches the only default ones?

You could try placing a BR Blue Brake (MK1) behind the loco to act as a barrier vehicle,I believe that works?
