Thanks to you both.
Regarding the floaty people, the 3 dimensioned ones are fairly well behaved but the worst offenders are some that I have that are flat, ethereal 2 dimensional beings that I cant recall seeing on any other route.
I thought you added these for some reason. Does no one else have these strange wafer thin beings? (I remember my son once having a book called "Flat Stanley"......)
Thanks for the heads up on the future plans. I seem to recall that the detailing between Shanklin and Ventnor via Wootton being a bit spartan, is that also WIP or is it considered finished?

Re: Where is the Adams O2 Tank??
I'm just a happy user, nothing to do with the developers, but If this helps . . .
If it is likely to affect a number of scenarios, it might be better to check the Route Editor and change the position in the next version of the scenery by the same method. If they are already set the right way in the Route Editor then it is just a case of their having been unintentionally saved in the wrong position in the specific scenario.

Usually this can be resolved within the Scenario Editor by setting the points the desired way in the map view, and then saving the scenario, ormbtech22 wrote:One tip for the scenario which starts at Freshwater is that for some reason the Yarmouth Siding points are set for the Siding and this prevents Causeway crossing signal from clearing. The point needs to be manually set for the correct route.
There is a similar issue with one of the scenarios which starts from Cowes where the Cement Mills siding points are incorrectly set which means that you are held at Medina Wharf. Again these should be manually set for the correct route.

I can't remember seeing these, but I'm happy to have a look and see how they look to me if you can say where you have seen them.PWHolmes wrote:Regarding the floaty people, the 3 dimensioned ones are fairly well behaved but the worst offenders are some that I have that are flat, ethereal 2 dimensional beings that I cant recall seeing on any other route.

Re: Where is the Adams O2 Tank??

Above is a picture of a 2D floaty man. He is now turn at an oblique angle to the viewer and therefore looks like a thin streak, hovering about 3 foot above the platform surface. He walks backwards and forward, sinking into the platform surface up to his armpits, then up into the air to about 6 foot above the platform.
Very off putting!!
Has anyone else expreienced these ghostly figures??

Hi Paul,
These figures are one of the features of the game I least like. They seem to be able to pass through buildings , levitate, pass through each other and disappear through the platforms. This is not peculiar to the IOW network but many official RSC routes too. Creative Rail had the right idea for China Clay for Export - the quiet stations featured don't have the usual cloned passengers wandering about just a few carefuly placed people here and there. Maybe I'll suggest that to the team for the future - something I meant to do a long time ago.

Re: Where is the Adams O2 Tank??
G.,
I've been a bit quiet for a while (Several reasons - work, travel to the far east, old PC expired, new PC bought, setting up same etc) but I am now fully running and still loving the IOW route. I don't know why, I've never had a connection with the island and have only been twice on short visits.
I am glad you intend to eliminate the manic population on the platforms (particularly the ghastly ghostly flat folk!!) for more sedate, static people - the sooner the better. Maybe if you change the platforms for quiet ones, it will eliminate the flashing platform surfaces I seem to get at many stations. I often like to add my own detailing to routes but I am wont to do this if the routes are to be reissued as updated versions in the near future.
Hence can you let me know when the next release will be?
Also, I have done some modelling in the past. I did the Welshpool and Llanfair for MSTS (Locos, stock and route) but have only done static buildings, signs and structures for TS - the only one in the public domain through UKTS being the glass roof I did for Stoke-on-Trent station of which I was particularly pleased.
In a couple of months I hope to get all the modelling stuff up and running on my new pc and would be happy to do a few buildings for the route, all being well.
