I recently got back in to train sims, I have got TS2013 installed and played a few scenarios, I notice there are additions/files in the download section for the sim, but where do you put them, obviously it isn't the same as MSTS so I'm a bit baffled?

It would help if you would mention which ones you are referring to then somebody can give exact advice. The file number is the best thing to quote.

In general, these days at least, all files should either be in a ZIP or RAR file that contains both the files to install and a readme file explaining how to install them. Once you have uncompressed the files to a temporary folder you can read the readme file and proceed. The readme file should also contain details of any dependencies required for the upload such as commercial packages from RSC or 3rd party providers.

My experience is that quite a lot of the uploads are RWP files which are installed using the package manager which is located in the utils.exe file in your Railworks folder. You can manually handle these files but for a novice who has had issues with other basic PC file handling in your other threads I would recommend against it.

Some uploads will unzip to a mass of files in various folders and only the readme can accurately tell you which ones to put where. If you get one on these and are not confident with it then it is best to ask but make sure you read the readme first.
