well i took the plunge

i had 500 points available so i bought the tripple pack the bristol-exeter route, voyager add on and the added activitys for 20.00 so minus my 500 points i got it for 15.00

this then gave me another 300 points so i bought the newcastle - york modern for 2.99

then i was tempted so bought the class 153 add on for 4.99 with remaining points

so all in all i got about 60.00 worth or add ons for more than half of that so all in all sale was really good i got 5 addons for what i would normally pay for 1 add on

Well, i had a second try on the Voyager scenario today...

I managed to brake down to 1st red, that was some route bug and next signal was green. And i even managed to brake to Northallerton where i derailed previously. How i did it, via the map, unfortunately. I really wonder that one can get Voyager to stop withhin 1.4miles or so, from 125mph, that is. And when i did my brakings, there is first regenetive braking, brake gauge show up to 2 bar's, then it jumps suddenly when speed is down to 50mph, great... :x

And for the scenario maker, the HST in front of the Voyager is InterCity colors, Voygaer is modern XrosCounrty colors. And there suppose to be some repaints included, ugh. And for the final, the AI service got 'stuck' in Northallerton, it won't move, so scenario over, until i can bodge myself to load from save... :D

One of the other problems with all the Voyager scenarios are the tight timings.. Usually this isn't a problem but if you drive the Voyager like a real human would the timings between stops are impossible. Mainly because when loading/unloading passengers the game assumes soon as the loading sequence is over you are pulling out and proceeding. With the Voyager you have to sit through the door closing sequence alarms etc and waiting for the doors to lock. This is an extra 20-30 seconds you're just sitting there not moving when the scenario is timed out as if you're already moving. I mean technically you can start moving when the scenario loading sequence is over but it really takes the realism out of the game when the doors are still shutting and not locked while moving.
