Yes Voyager braking is relatively poor - lots of anticiption required - you soon get used to it.

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
I believe the Voyager's breaking is spot on accurate though, I think it's something to do with the modern regenerative breaking system. Speaking to a driver of a 350 a few years back he said sometimes the 350's breaks need to be applied to above 50% for effective breaking. IIRC the 350 uses a similar breaking system to the 220/221. As said before it's just getting used to them.
As for JT's product though, I can't fault it, model spot on, sounds are good (With the Armstrong Powerhouse sounds available to purchase should you not like the default ones), physics are good and all the little effects that come with it give you the '100% in control' feeling. Have a disliking for them in real life but JT have really captured the feeling of driving your own train and I'd say it's worth the full price anyway so getting it in the sale would be a bargain.
HTH,
James

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
I picked up York-Newcastle modern, at that price I'd buy any route!
Any recommendations or otherwise for Bishop Auckland-Darlington? I'm tempted as it has lots of scenarios for the Class 153 which I already have, but I know nothing about the route. Also seriously tempted by the Class 67 and car carriers.

I buy flightsim add-ons too, and bought the repaints for the 757 freemium plane at a great price.
A great model that's free with payware repaints.

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
Well I took the plunge and dived in to the sale. As usual I want everything, but that's not feasible. I ended up getting Newcastle to York modern because at that price it would be frankly stupid not to, the 67 and carrier pack and then the Class 20 collection (on offer when bought with the 67).
After using some points on my account it left me with just £20 to pay for that veritable feast!

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
As ever I'm all JustTrained up when the sale comes round, although I would say, about half of my JustTrains product have been bought in sales
Newcastle to York Modern is well worth it at that price, one thing maybe to point out though, do you need to buy the original 'default' ECML or European Legacy Assets to run it if you're a post TS2013 user?

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it
Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
I've just popped back to see if there was anything I could get with my amassed reward points. I was pleasantly surprised to see Trainz Simulator 12 on sale for £5.99, with me having 618 points. I remember Trainz from the MSTS days and how the editor was so much me fluid. I popped in to have a look, and listed in black and white was the sole retain I needed to buy - ECML BR Blue era, Kings Cross to Newcastle - WHAT? That's some route!
When I got to the check out I saw that it earned me 367 points, so in real terms, if you plan on buying more from Just Retains in the future, it costs you just £2.32! What a steal!

Pah. Methinks I already have the things with the most scope, the Truro, Manor and MHR. The only two I've never got are the Patriots and Duchesses, which both seem a l'il more niche to me.

Thanks for the heads up. Just downloading Trainz 12 now. In reality I'm up £1.70 now, thanks JT

Just Trains products for Railworks 3 are compatible with TS 2013.TheDeckchair wrote:Good afternoon all,
Please excuse what may be a daft question, but are Railworks 3 downloads as offered by JT completely compatible with TS2013?
Many thanks in advance.
On the Just Train Support page there are some patches for products where a problem with TS 2013 has been found.

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
It does say on the page for Newcastle to York Modern that you do need the European Legacy Assets Pack if you do not already own the original route.pjt1974 wrote:As ever I'm all JustTrained up when the sale comes round, although I would say, about half of my JustTrains product have been bought in sales![]()

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
Thanks Peter
I just can't see that on the product page, maybe I'm looking at a different page than you.
I was only pointing it out to anyone unaware of the fact really.

Re: Just Flight Easter Sale
well i took the plunge
i had 500 points available so i bought the tripple pack the bristol-exeter route, voyager add on and the added activitys for 20.00 so minus my 500 points i got it for 15.00
this then gave me another 300 points so i bought the newcastle - york modern for 2.99
then i was tempted so bought the class 153 add on for 4.99 with remaining points
so all in all i got about 60.00 worth or add ons for more than half of that so all in all sale was really good i got 5 addons for what i would normally pay for 1 add on
