With so many people wanting old deleted traction and RSC not wanting any more revenue from discontinued stock maybe they should just upload to here as freeware for everone to enjoy. And yes some people like me have paid for it and newbies could get it for free but what the heck, i bought in a 50% off sale did people who paid full price complain so why complain if they gave it away.

The Strathclyde 101 is not just a reskin. The major bugs in the original have been addressed. Ironically, it's raised the bar as far as expectations are for other product re-issues IMHO. If you can't wait for a blue version, reskin it. I Have.

The fixes on here have improved the old 101 anyway and with its number of repaints it's good enough.
I can think of better items to spend £11.99 on.

Yes, it's the weathered blue re-skins in the library here in BR blue that really floated my boat to be honest. I did see a black Class 08 when I did some of the Woodhead scenarios - but something nagged my mind that it wasn't a driveable 08 and just an AI example?

I will do some checking of my route when I get home today, but does anyone have a quick answer as to whether the Woodhead 08 is driveable? And with an 'in cab' view?

Interior? I always thought it was just an AI model too!

The Woodhead 08 is selectable in the Quick Drive menu
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

Dammit - Just realised...

... there is an RSC centre box 37 currently available, without needing the full RSC 37 pack, and I already have it

The EWS 37s included with the Settle & Carlisle route are centre box versions!!!

And there are David Hossack reskins of them in Armstrong Powerhouse's AP15 extra stock download - along with re-skins of the S&C Cl 158 model.

D'ohh

Does anyone know - is the S&C 37 model the same as the Cl 37 pack model, or like the other "route specials" is it a one - off?

(i.e., will the RSC 37 pack re-skins on UKTS work with the S&C 37???)

I too have considered this. Can anyone help with this?

The reskins will be referencing Class37pack01, so probably not. AP have been recently reskinning the S&C 37 instead of the Standalone 37 for their scenario packs, so have a look through some of the free extra stock packs on the website.

If you edit the .bin files to point to the S&C version there's no reason why they shouldn't work---as far as I'm aware the shape files are basically the same so the skins will *fit*

I have downloaded the AP reskins, and noticed that they are the "same" David Hossack reskins as in the UKTS library...

So, yes, subject to appropriate editing of references, the RSC 37 pack skins should be workable for the S&C 37
