Re: uk southeast
The route thing has no bearing on the error box! It does not annoy me it is only reported as a means of completeness!
To clarify - I have NO assets missing. The error box appears when trying to 'Show location' in the 'Roads' section.

Thanks, that helps as your initial post gave the impression the second error popped up when running the initial route check....Traveller54 wrote:To clarify - I have NO assets missing. The error box appears when trying to 'Show location' in the 'Roads' section.
I get that error too; just tried the routine on 3 other routes with the same results so it would seem to be a global issue, not confined to just this particular route (running RW Tools version 4.0.40)Traveller54 wrote:2) Checking the route with RW_Tools I get this message box that will not clear:
Error.#5 Invalid procedure call or argument

Re: uk southeast
So the error box is generated by RW_Tools then - schucs!!
I hadn't need to check a route for a while so hadn't noticed that (note to self: alwyas check two at the same time just in case!). I am using the latest, v4.0.63, and the box appears on more than one - will flag that to Mike in the other forum.
Thanks Tech for the help!

Re: Error.#5 - for information:
If you remove all the road tiles to a safe place and then run RW_Tools "Route Building, Check Routes, Show Locations" then you can generate a list of assets for your chosen route.
Not the best solution but certainly a work-around.
Other observations: 'Mind the Gap Please'!! Is it me or are the platform edges a little far away from the carriages?

I usually just use the check route feature, and then go through the Do you want to.....' boxes, finally saying yes to the one which generates the asset list.

Re: uk southeast
Just had my first 'proper' drive along the route, and it's really rather good---no idea how accurate as it's been nigh on 30 years since I ventured that far south but it would be a shame, even a sin, not to finish this one off!

This matter has now been resolved with an update of RW_tools to v4.0.64!Traveller54 wrote:Re: Error.#5 - for information:

Mike Simpson commented "I found the problem, RW_Tools gave an error because it could not handle a problem with certain Road files where there were blank entries (I think this may be caused if a road is laid then taken up - it leaves a blank entry in the .bin file)"

Re: uk southeast
Hi guys,
I have been thinking about the future of UKSE and have come to the conclusion (for the moment atleast) that people are wlecome to download and edit the route for their own use. However please dont upload to anywhere or share without letting me know first.
In regards to the 3rd rail, I did add it, but for alot of the scenery you need to have WCML installed. I also believe there were a few other DLCs I used. Im guessing RWtools can tell you which ones. I might have even written a list on the UKSE webpage. I did get quite far in the end. Everything east for Brighton finished and everything up to just south of Gatwick I believe.
If you have any questions, please let me know
Nips
*EDIT* Some of the platforms are a little too far from the track. I believe someone told me after playing the route that 5m platforms should be 4.2m from the track and I started to do that once told, but some of the older sections (Seaford-Lewes) wont have been changed. This was also my first time creating a route from scratch, so some of you old hands will find issues im sure :p
