Station stops

Hi Folks,

Is there any way at all to:

a) Change the preset 35 seconds stop times in the timetable edititor to either a different figure or a random timer between two time periods (eg 20-30 seconds)?

b) To stop the doors closing and the guard buzzing when you are stopped at a platform when there is a signal which would be obviously classed as a platform starter (it seams that the general rule is when trains are less than a maximum train length away from a signal if im right) as this is extreamly annoying and very un-prototypical?
