anyone running RW on an "All in One" computer?

Post by jetgriff »

Saw a nice Samsung but it only has 1 gig dedicated graphics, I have to have at least Nvidia 450 to run on my desktop and an i7 quad core cpu.

Wondering if they can cope?

I run (just to see if I could) the Free NRM Flying Scotsman version of Railworks on a Samsung Notepad 1Gb Memory, its very jerky, I'm not sure I would advise it.

I used to run TS on an integrated GPU (Intel) and it was pretty poor. However it was a lot better when I bought a new PNY (NVidia) GeForce GTS 450 and it is even better with GameBooster. No lag unless you really stretch the sim. I use an Intel i5 for my CPU.

View an all in one PC as just a big laptop, 1GB of dedicated VRAM is fine but of more importance is whether the CPU and GPU are up to the job. Plenty of system RAM never goes astray either.
