When did you last go on steam? Tuesday night there was a large "update" that removed quite a bit of content, but people effected found that verifying the cache on Wednesday returned everything. Not sure if this is another similar problem, or if the original problem will just effect everyone as they log onto steam for the first time after Tuesday night. Then again maybe this is the proper update we were supposed to get Tuesday but totally messed up.

Or other people with more patience just let Steam sort it out - and it did for me, without any need to verify the cache.

Very strange, I've had my Steam online everyday this week, including this morning, and no update has been triggered on mine and I have good amount of DLC.

Maybe I'm a lucky one :D :D
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Do you have the Munich Augsburg route? That is what was updated for me.

I don't have that route but I also received a large update of around 350MB.

My update only kicked in after I closed and restarted the Steam client.

I've had updates for Class101Strath, IcePack01, Class66Pack02, Thompson B1, DT Light Pacific, Munich Ausburg Route, Rolling Stock etc and Oovee Class57. I could aditionally have missed something, plus the fact that other items that I have not bought may have additionally been updated.
