Looks very nice, looks like it is fairly advanced too!
I wonder what stock will be used in the scenarios as it appears via comments on Facebook it won't actually come with any "new" stock.
Peter.
Edit - teach me not to read everything!
Note: This route expansion requires that you have installed the European Community Asset Pack (available to buy from the Steam website) if your Train Simulator 2013 software was purchased AFTER 20 September 2012.

One small voice of dissent - isn't it a little bit short?

I presume you're joking there?
Certainly looks good. Not sure it is my cup of tea though being a preserved line, but are any monies going to the MHR as a result of this product. Would be good for the line if they did.

Seems quite a niche product, but does look nice.

I also wonder if a cut of the profits is going to The Mid Hants Railway Ltd and if the package will have any dedicated new locomotive with it. It looks like a super route, but for me, these two factors will be required before I make any purchase.
Kind regards
Chris

You do get 10 mile line, 1in60 from Alton to Medstead, Ropley to Medstead and 1in80 from Alresford to Ropley. Seems to me a good challenge route to do, I like Preserved lines for RW gives me to do a number of things to do. Looks like via the website its going to be £20 fair price to me

The preserved line is 10miles long in real life, so no, not really short when JT are doing it to the actual preserved line's length. It has Network rail connected at Alton, but that really has nothing to do with the Mid-Hants Railway release which JT are going to release, as including network rail would mean turning it into the south west lines which is entirely different.
On the plus side, this route's release means you can pretty much put any of the steam engines we have for the simulator onto this route as most of them have appeared at some point on this route in real life.

Nice to see so many custom buildings but they could do with some weathering and shadow baking. The blurb refers to authentic signalling but the signals in the screenshot look like the old Kuju default stuff.

Not really, no. Lovely looking but not for me I'm afraid - Although the quality will be undoubtedly high!

One of my local lines and I'm looking forward to it coming out.
Nice that I could tell where most of th screenshots would have been. Even the background countryside looked spot on.

Looks really nice - Missing some new bits of trackwork and buildings at Ropley though. I hope something like this can come to MSTS!
Cheers
