Personally, I'm really enjoying the route. I would like to say thanks very much to JT.

Unfortunately I am getting very low FPS when entering stations, getting a new PC next month so cant wait to run the MHR with high (hopefully) FPS.

Once again, a brilliant route! Cheers JustTrains. :)

Steve, please contact support and then we can look into your problem, nobody else has reported this issue.

May I ask,did you purchase Train Simulator 2013 after September 20th 2012,if so,you may need to download the European Asset Pack, which is a requirement for users who didn't own the game pre Train Simulator 2013. (Because previously default items were removed from the base sim).

Rather than throw a tantrum you'd be better off sending JT a nice polite e-mail explaining your issue. The whole idea of using cooling towers to signify missing items is to make it much easier to see where there may be a problem. As the route has been checked with no errors (as posted above) JT are unlikely to be aware of a problem. The problem may not be of their making, just because an asset is missing it doesn't mean they didn't include it---you may be missing non JT items.

Shouting won't get you anywhere, and could be considered very rude.

I'm not happy with you saying I was throwing a tantrum & your insinuations that my comments could be rude - I think you're missing my point - while not wanting to be patronised by you or anyone else, I was merely trying to make the point that the product should work IN FULL, NO ERRORS 'out of the box' & if you read previous comments in this topic, others have had some issues too.
If it is now being said that assets other than JT assets need to be installed prior to this route installation - if I've missed the instruction to install these non JT assets from their website prior to purchase & installation, then I apologise.
However, if 3rd party assets or whatever are needed to run this route, then they should have been included.
My apologies if anyone is offended by my cynicism, but I really do think at the price paid for the route, there should be NO ISSUES, irrespective of whether you need 3rd party input or no

The issue is that the "missing" assets were core once upon a time, but not any more.

I could start work on a route now using core assets that are currently included, but by the time of release they may not be. Not a problem for existing users, but a huge problem for new users.

I do feel that the old "core" assets should still be there - even if the routes are not.

I accept the points you make gswindale & I think you've clearly identified the problem/. Last week, I had to do a complete reinstall of Railworks which presumeably means that some of these core assets could now be missing _ therefore, I suppose I'm now a 'new user' which means any new routes that use these now redundant assets will NEVER be complete on my PC. I installed the Watercress Line after the Railworks reinstall. I'm simply not bright enough to replace these assets with something else or even identify those that are missing !!!! What started off as a good sim, is slowly but surely becoming far too complicated to get everything to work as it should - missing assets are almost as bad as my other daily nightmare, missing/broken consists !!!! Having spent an absolute foertune [in pensioner speak] on DLC, with JT, DT, IHH. Mesh Tools etc etc.., I'm reluctant to go back to Microsofts' Train Simulator, but I can see thats where I'm heading - The way things are going with this sim, many will be joining me, I think.
Thanks for your suggestions, much appreciated

The "missing" assets are probably those assets that were core but are now part of the "European Asset Pack". It's stated on many of JT'S pages that this pack is needed, there have been numerous threads in here about them. Typing in capitals is considered shouting in internet forums, but netiquette aside when you have a problem with any purchase you firstly contact the vendor for assistance, only if you get no joy there do you spout off publicly about products being unfit or incomplete.

Steve please see my reply from earlier today,I'm afraid I can say no more than that,it says on the website that the European Asset Pack is required to run the route if Train Simulator 2012 was not previously owned.

If you did own TS2012 but have got issues then please do contact support, there's nothing much I/we can do to help you without knowing exactly what your situation regarding the simulator is.

Steve,

I suspect that your missing assets could be the decal files that myself and others and also seen. As per the posts above from JT these files are extras and do not affect the route directly.

OK call it poor planning by the maker in not removing them before release but again he can't be blamed for replacing missing files with the large cooling towers either.

Does this mean that a user applied modification is actually the (noticeable) problem?
That's not really something JT can be blamed for.

The references to the decals can easily be removed with RW Tools, you don't need to be a techie whizz kid to use it or if you have highly visible markers for those decals it's as easy to drop into World Editor and remove them.

I accept what you say, & I guess you:re right re the decal files. Unfortunately, to those of us with v limited technical ability & who just want everything to be right 'out of the box' without having to try and amend, to find these miising assets was, to say the least, disappointing. Incidentally, I'm not sure how, but the cooling towers came, I think, from Mully's site !!
Thanks for your comments
