Just received an email with info about this
The Download of this ten-mile scenic heritage route will be on sale on Thursday 7 March and the Boxed edition will be available on Friday March 22. Both are priced at £19.99 / €24.95 / $29.99.
Looking forward to it, i like recreating Steam Galas :)
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

Hi
I just checked my E mail tonight, and i have the latest Newsletter from Just trains, the Mid Hants will be released on thursday 7 March.Looking
forward to this one.I think we do need more preserved railways released through the publishers. In Msts we had quite a few and the railways
themselves sold the product through there shops.I think railworks need to look at this too.

By the way City of Truro is a must buy folks the best loco yet created :P

Why would they leave out a goods shed?

Just done my first run from Alton.

Very nice and I was able to recognise places I was taking photos from during the spring gala weekend including a few lineside spots away from stations.

My only comment would be about the signalling in that, as expected, they used stock items rather than versions of the real life signals and also on the real line they have some signals with no arms these are shown as complete working signals here.

Now to try and work a full gala timetable, although hopefully without Wadebridge failing the climb the Alps as she did last Sunday. :D

A really attractive little line. Nice number of standard scenarios plus an extra set available, along with some MK1 Carriages, in a Scenario Pack.

I have just run a couple of scenarios and spent more time 'looking out the windows' than driving the engine. Very impressive, although rather short. But then it is a preservation line, so fair enough.

Cheers.

It looks like an attractive little route, but I surely must not be the only one thinking that £20 is a lot of lolly for 10 miles?
Like the Bishop Auckland line this seems to be priced at 2x the price one would expect for such a short route.
Will definitely pick it up in a half-price sale at some point though.

For first time in ages, I actually came into to the forum to see if I could be persuaded to get the sim, but I'll leave disappointed.

As a resident loco of the MHR, I so would have loved to see the engine my dad helped save from Barry finally in a train simulator, but it looks to me like no authentic stock is included. If I'm right, then what's the point of a route only? Even Europeanbahn would recreate a few trains that used the line they were modelling.

By the way, whoever posted the link to the Just Trains on the news pages, you missed out a colon after the http.

How can this be ? surely these should be in the download package ? Is it missing with anyone else ?

All I can suggest is clear the cache, make sure the tickboxes are there or try a re-install

Missing decals aren't a cause for concern, they will likely only have been used to show the route builder where to place buildings, track, roads etc.

No, it doesn't impede the route from running, its just that I thought everything would have been included in the package.
