Whilst I will probably get this during the next 50% sale, I'm a bit disappointed that RSC have released another ICE train. There are plenty of other German items that could be released before doubling up with similar stock. I would like to see some moder S-Bahn trains (Class 423) or perhaps the FLIRT trains to run on the Hagen to Siegen route.

Nice ICE pack for 19.99 with all three in, not bad value if you don't have any ICE...

They probably just wanted to complete the set to get focused on other German content. It's also a bit of a marketing tool, as I would think many people would get the pack for various reasons.

hi, ...
Someone has since been times coupled with two units? In the German forum users already complain that the front hatch does not work out and there seems to be no Scharfenberg coupling.

Just press N for the nose on each car if you need. Doesn't work for AI trains. But please, don't uncouple or you get derailed. @RSC, please stand away from german vehicles. You will never learn it.

The Scharfenberg couplers must definitely be visible when 2 ICE 2's run together to a certain junction point on their route. After that, when they uncouple and each of the two sets then continues to its own destination, the doors must work and close behind the stored coupler. That's the realistic detail and operational advantage of the ICE 2!

Hello iceman
I see two Ice2 glued together, they must cetainly be expert line/ advancd models of some kind
(just kiding),
I personally would be very dissapoited if I had bought the model and saw them glued together like that. Then again with all due respect there must be a market out there that is not as demanding and hppy with somethng like that business is bussiness!

hi, radu1972
Can I think when you have the ICE1, ... ICE2 you look at the save the money.
The ICE2 model is only slightly different. The sound is also of ICE1.
The head does not really.
This reminds me more of a old lukewarm coffee in Quick Restaurante.
Perhaps at a 95 percent discount promotion.

Apparently if you enter both cabs to be joined and press n, the nose hatches open. Something that appears to be omitted from the manual, and presumably can only be done in free roam.

Hi,
I have edited the original files so that the Cab Car now has no engine sound in interior/exterior view.
Also changed the label above the driver to read 402... instead of 401... (although this affects the loco and cabcar as they both use the same cabview)
