ChrisTrains Dutch NS Mat'64 in work

Post by chrisell »

Just a quick update - for anyone here who likes the Dutch models, I'm working on the Mat'64 now. This was the followup EMU to the Mat'54 (Dognose). I'm doing a few variants of it - the 4-car Plan-T, and 2-car Plan-V versions in a couple of different colours and derivatives. Just finished the outside work on the revised Plan-T. These were popular EMUs right up until the mid 90's when they started to get phased out. I think the last one ran regular passenger service in 2008.

Wonderful, Chris ! 8)

Regarding dutch railworks it's wonderful too to be able to drive the Mat'64 in TS2013 surely but nothing as iconic as a 'Hondekop' (dogs' head), isn't it.

Great nostalgic movie 'Tati style' (Herman Wassenaar) starring Mat'54 'Hondekop'. " Djel, dede, djel, djada, djada, dedjel, dede, djel " :

You're regulator is set for the right direction, Chris ! Would be fantastic if you could keep it there for a while... :D

THANK YOU SO MUCH for what you're doing for us Railworks dutchies !! 8)

Check http://dutch-classics.nl/ for news on the Mat'54 "Hondekop" :)
We're working around each other so we don't tread on each other's toes and replicate models.

Ah yes, sorry, Chris. Didn't realize Dutchclassics is doing de Mat'54, must be my enthusiasm..

Great that you both coordinate your RW releases. So i take it it's your turn to do the Mat'46 ? (just kidding... :) )

Looking forward to both the '54 and '64 !

Thanks for the compliments. It was a busy day today - one documentation bug and one scenario bug - not too bad for a release day. I did of course get a massive list of requests from the Dutch crews for the v1.1 patch :D

I've sent them through the installer files so it's however long it takes for them to set up a store page for it now :)
