Nice one, looks good and if the 101 is anything to go by these should be top notch too!

Have to say these are such a cracking buy! The team have done a superb job on this loco, recommend highly. Only one tiny gripe and it is that there are no decent sound fading effects on passing trains.

I am weak - could not resist!
Re: New BR151 Plus Pack from TTB
Wow...Some incredible weathering/texturing work there!
Re: New BR151 Plus Pack from TTB
Great photoreal textures indeed! Thanks for the tip !
By looking at the screenshots the more pity it is to see the same problem that the earlier model suffered from still exists... : windscreen wipers only cannot protect the driver if there's no windscreen in the first place....
Actually very surprising to see this anomalie not having been adressed in the upgrade of this otherwise excellent BR151 model. Just a matter of straightening out the glass texture material properties ( the alpha channel produces not enough reflectivity under all lighting conditions )
I have the original model but bought the Plus Pack anyway hoping for a patch.

Have you notified TTB or RSC? Seems like the logical thing to do if it needs fixing?By looking at the screenshots the more pity it is to see the same problem that the earlier model suffered from still exists... : windscreen wipers only cannot protect the driver if there's no windscreen in the first place....![]()

Re: New BR151 Plus Pack from TTB
Downloaded thanks although manual does not seem to actually list them
Anyway just tried the 151 aoundpack and it is wonderful. Really sounds like a heavy industrial loco and the wagon sounds are also top notch.
Just need to figure out how the default , the VR Class 151 and this one differ and interact. Also to see if any way these sounds can be used pn the others.
Also had some emergency brake applications even when I was only apporaching a yellow or mixed green and yellow signal and well below the speed limit.
The weathered re skin I used is much more like a working loco than the default Now have this and the Class 101 pack

Re: New BR151 Plus Pack from TTB
Well, I've got confused by the first sentence in the Shop description of this pack - Our third Railworks addon is released. The railworks default class 151 gets a huge enhancement with new features.
There never has been a default Class 151 in the game, the only one available is the Payware version from virtual Railways, so, do we need to have this locomotive before we obtain the repaint pack from TTR, or, is this a brand new complete locomotive model ??

Seems to add new liveries to the German Railroads RW folder so looks as though you need that. Not sure but it is in my clean base 'spare'. Now I don't know if that means it is default or that I purchased it as DLC earlier. Certainly had the 151 for a long time. I also have another load of 151 versions from Virtual Railroads which have separate controls and soundsets which is going to confuse me a bit!

IIRC a version of the GR 151 was made default in one of the past updates with limited liveries. Same with the 143.

Hmm, more confusing........chrisreb wrote: Seems to add new liveries to the German Railroads RW folder so looks as though you need that. Not sure but it is in my clean base 'spare'. So, this Plus Pack from TTR are repaints of a default Class 151 and accompanying wagons as it states on their website, that appeared a long time ago from a Payware German Railroad vendor that no longer exists for British users, or, possibly in the CD/DVD German version of Rail Simulator from 2008, so, anyone who didn't buy it at the time cannot get it now, therefore, these reskin liveries are of no use, unless us British fans can get the default Class 151 and wagons back in the game, from somewhere.

Re: New BR151 Plus Pack from TTB
There is a default Class 151 which came with the original version of railworks 2 (I don't know about before then as I only bought the sim at RW2), this resides in the GermanRailroadsRW folder. These now appear (i believe) in the European Community Asset pack.
