NS 1800 2.0

Post by remonfop »

I like to show you something new probaly you think again a new dutch loco?? ;) this time an free upgrade for the old 1800. i realy like to extend addons to an higher level time by time, im working now already from 2009 on this game engine and im putting now all my new experience inside the loco . and the first free upgrade is the ns1800 with version name 2.0. On this moment im running inside the latest beta version till the release verry soon. tweaking some sounds and small stuff.

the new upgrade brings allot of extended stuff to railworks. easy to say a massive big improvement upgrade of the ns1800.
The release include 22 logo version from citys inside the Netherlands with typical weather effects and dirt effects on the loco. also some fine tuned details on the model and some fixes on the model itself.
Bottom side is extended with photo textured details allot of hand painting work.

Total simulation behind the loco is extended some parts are recalculated. every valua from the brake till the traction is checkt , tweaked and allot of parts coming outside official manuals of this train.
Whit this you get an nice simulation. you almost feel the heavyweight from a long train. and what about the brakes even the brake react different with a low main pressure now.
just an small part outside the total of new options but one i already wanth to show your.

Did you see already a dutch warning system inside railworks ? i didnt see it else where ;) only on my own computer. German trains need pzb, english trains aws , and dutch trains ATB.
this is one extra project like pzb90
I started beginning of this year on the first scriptings of an new dutch signal system. decompiling dll files finding new lua functions. starting on the first parts of the atb. and on this moment im running atb inside alpha stage. and i release it also for you with the new release. so you can enjoy the safety system already. i can only say i realy love it. 3 words! much more fun,

Take a look by your self

This looks interesting. Keep us posted :D
Where can the original NS 1800 be downloaded from?

'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'
