hi, ...

I think now is not very successful.
A floor shadow saves apparently.Looks MSTS likly.
The graffiti has at least something in the photos looks artificial.
Not just the Burner for me.
Perhaps you would prefer to put the capacity in which BR 218. :)
This is not a Critic, its my own Sight.

Personally I think that the hoppers are the more successful, but I suspect that the vans will get a spruce up before long to address such views. By the wayI have no connection with fopix other than as a customer.Realistic graffitti seems to be a challenge in the sim

hi, ...
Now it is not about the coaches to talk bad. Sure they are not bad.
It's artistically simply good design graffiti and dirty cars to realize.
And a base shadow all vehicles should have been.

I also looked at Chris trains new payware train (Netherland) Fantastic Loco, but I see no ground shadows under the Train. :(
For me this is one reason they do not buy payware. Unrealistic because it looks bright under the car or train.
Something like that, there was only the MSTS or earlier in Trainz.
Best places you take a look at a wagon or train to get to know the lighting conditions. But only when parked.

hi, remonfop

Thank you for your missing person ad.

No, seriously, ...
they even post the answer yourself with their pictures.
But once they look at the bogeys of the wagons.
There you can easily see the darker spot.

And wherein the shot would wagons darker under the central part and to the bogeys.
For the middle part in the closed car of course you have not used Super Black, but you can generate a slightly lighter black shade.
A Train ground shadows are the vehicles more volume.

Grafitti to just this:
Sprayer spray their sign usually at night, in secret or under time pressure.
This circumstance can be found mostly not to colorful works, but
Sign were sprayed with mostly three or four colors.
If you use too many colors, it looks more like a graffiti competition and well put.
Again, less is often more.

Course, are only my opinions and should also not a criticism of the coaches are great.
They are well worth their money.

In this situation i like to talk about my personal work facns.
And i talk whit my photogapical experiences and easy to say experienced with light conditions for more than 12 years already. hmm i didnt know that the time flys so fast woow.
comming back to this you see on the photos an high position of the sun. and inside this situation there is a small amount of shadow you see that correct but you still have to look good because its almost not vissble. the cause of that the facns are open from the top ;) and the frame work is inside an high postition, so its still possible for the light to reach the parts under the bogie.
If we look to second condition with an low located sun the sun can come under the bogies than the sky shadows are dissapearing, if there is located a static alpha channel than we have that situation not realstic annymore ;) So we cant talk about not realistic because an alpha channel shadow can only make it realistic for one time on a day and not for every time on a day.and even that alpha channel is not realistic because its moste time to dark and high contrasted and if the sun light is shining on that the light from the sun is darker and thats also not realistic.
So in main situations objects or trains with less space under it need the alpha channel under it. high located objects dont need it and only need it under a bogie where the light cant reacht the bottom from allot of sides.
I think the best solution for an realistic effect is an sky dome light source inside the game that generate the blurred shadows ;)
