Well I'll certainly get this as something I would have used on the GCR and perhaps the KWVR in the past, however as I'm not prepared to get either route just to run this and I have no plans to do anything new for it, do you lot reccommend I get Woodhead

On a related note does anyone have any gradient info on the Great Central Nottingham, since that's the only other line I know of her going

The GWR bought 100 after WW1 and they survived to BR days as the 3000 class. I wonder how hard it would be to put a GW safety-valve bonnet on one as part of a reskin? Brian?

Model alterations can't really be done in reskins, a child object could be added, but then someone who have to model it, then it would have to be textured and put in place correctly while making suitable modifications to make sure the existing safety valve and its effects come out the right location and I think Brian only does textures. Plus the 3000 class had another piece infront of the dome which would need modelling for a child object attachment.

So realistically it would take awhile to do, far longer than just a reskin job.

Model pics I know, but differences is obvious:

A top-feed and safety valve bonnet (if it can sit over the existing pair) could easily be added to a reskin as child objects; the difficult bit is the actual modelling of the children, getting the top feed and piping to sit flush along the curvature of the boiler and even just exporting a model is something I've personally yet to crack. Then there's the case of the chimney, but the GWR one looks so out of place that I think I could live with the omission... so yes, if you are a confident modeler/exporter then it's very doable indeed.
Nice exterior model, by the way. :)

Wonder whether there is any 'animated' inside Cylinder motion, as Kev (kevmt) managed to do all that time a ago on his wonderful models? So missing your models Kev, still running them everytime I fire up Rail Simulator.

Can't wait to see the price of it.

I for one will not be getting it.£11.99 for one locomotive with one skin I cannot justify. I don't have the money and what money I do have is being saved for Maerdy when it eventually shows up. If it included the LNER livery and maybe a extra freight wagon or two maybe but it is telling one can get the 56xx with all the livery's it wore in its entire life practically and a full set of GWR wagons for the same price.

Try it on the NLLR, which is in the UKTS library, O4's ran there as it was an ex-GCR line.
And get Woodhead, too! Where does it say that it is 11.99?

Its a assumption, being that all existing loco packs have been £11.99 and its very unlikely that RSC would change that norm, still no sign of it on steam yet.

I must say if it is £11.99 that is a very high price for one loco. Especially when both RSC and other devs are selling DLC with much more for the same/similar prices.

As they obviously don't intend to release it today anyway, there's little use speculating i think...
