I must apologize for the delay in the addon, it was in fact scheduled for release a week or two after the livestream but the release date slipped because of one thing and another including extending the line an extra 4/5 miles in 5 days and a complete re signalling of the line ( still in progress) and then of course the focus on ts2013 also didn't help matters.

All in all it hasn't been the greatest release schedule but we will learn, and it has had its own benefits: Without the delays we wouldn't have been able to extend the route and while the addon did work when the live stream was shown it works even better now than it ever has done.
next time I'll know not to tease too early in development :)
Regards
Edward

FoggyMorning wrote:I hadn't realized it was a real route and that isn't really a critical factor for me, but to be honest it is the route that is more attractive to me than the loco, though that does look very nice and seems like it will have a whole raft of extra features. I really enjoy short haul routes with plenty of shunting/tootling around options but there are not that many UK routes around that fill this sort of gap I don't think.
Whether I will be able to drive the loco with its advanced features is a different matter! Might have to substitute a trusty class 08 shunter, though I have just about got the hang of the 56XX now! :P
My feelings are quite similar to yours. I like small, compact routes where there is scope for short trips and much shunting. Whilst I enjoy the sight and sound of a steam loco, I'm too young to have them in my blood and I will probably run this route in a fantasy "what if" way. Hopefully with a little poetic licence, a 101 won't look too out of place on the branch shuttle, with 03s and 08s working to the colliery with rakes of coal hoppers.

Could well be the best release for RW to date ! Both route and loco look fantastic and very much looking forward to 1 in 30 on full controls. Certainly looking forward to this one.

Well they managed to bodge the O4 release lastweek and we ended up this time on the friday instead and yes, with the clock change valve adds another hour to release schedules in the winter period when they release things on time.

Its not even delayed, Valve's servers are running on release times of before daylight saving, like they ALWAYS do each and every winter, still another hour atleast before they would have hit there usual release slot time frame.

Its now available, restart steam. and click the dlc box on new releases list if you haven't already.

Edit: Was, now can't find any sign of it, but was able to purchase it anyway, 1200mb download.
