RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\mbs\4cig_mbs_np_cx.bin

RSC\Class421Pack01\railvehicles\electric\class421\cx\tso\4cig_tso_np_cx.bin

Can anyone assist?
Exact same stock error I got so I verified the cache, no change. I then downloaded the extra stock again and that corrected the issue. However if you still have the issue try this;

When the extra stock pack doesn't install properly, you may need to give it some help...

Unzip the Extra Stock Pack to a new folder.
Open the ‘RailWorks’ folder inside the extra stock pack.
Copy the 'Assets' folder inside that folder.
Open the location of your RailWorks game 'Steam\steamapps\common\railworks'
paste the 'Assets' folder into your Railworks folder and Overwrite it if asked.
Go back to the ‘Assets’ folder contained within the Extra Stock Pack and open that folder
Double-click the file called ‘InstallMe.bat'
A command window will then open and copy all the shape files for you from the original locations to the reskin locations.
The missing stock should now be installed.

If not, contact AP.

Just to make things a bit easier, the latest version of RW_Tools v4.0.21 can update bulk Class 47 locos in the same manner as earlier Class 43 sounds could be fixed.

Thanks Mike, What would we do without you? :D
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Can RWTools apply any sounds to any loco, and or just certain AP sounds?

Sounds are excellent – well done Richard as usual.

On the Leeds-Southampton Freightliner it appears that you are only intended to drop off the rear most wagon in Didcot yard rather than the two which is suggested. I successfully accomplished that but then and somewhat surprisingly just east of Didcot there is a diversion from the up relief to the up main leading to a derailment on the points.

Just wondered whether anyone else has experienced this and/or successfully completed the scenario?

No issues installing the stock pack, the files just weren't in it. They are in the AP27 stock pack though, so installing that put me right.

Good evening, could someone advise me how you use RW Tools to install the sounds in batch mode? I've got as far as editing assets, and the cl 47 sounds, but do I just select the Kuju, or IHH cl 47 folders, and then click on udate sounds/class 47 sounds. It says it's done it but the audio files don't seem to have been amended in the cl 47 audio files. I've looked in the RW Help Manual but couldn't find any advice on how to do this. Many thanks.

There are a bunch of options in RW_Tools which can be used with various Armstrong Powerhouse packs. All work in much the same manner, for the Class 47
1. Run RW_Tools and select Edit Assets from the main menu
2. Navigate to the folder where your Class 47 lies, in the case of the Kuju models, this will be Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class47
3. Tick the 'Rolling stock only' box
4. Click the Add to list button - this will display all your Class 47 .bin files
5. Select the locos you wish to modify - Ctrl-Click to select - (you will not want to modify Dead locos etc, or ones which have already been modified)
6. Go to the Update Sounds menu and select the Class 47 Sounds section

This should modify all of the .bin files selected - if one can't be modified (possibly due to having had changes made to it previously), you will get a message to that effect.

Backup .bak files are made of all the modified .bin files, so you can always revert to the original if necessary.

Richard would it be possible to have some extra in cab sounds from the engine please? It would be good to hear some of the engine sounds in the cab.... either that or will we have to ask RSC to add a sliding window?

Thanks Mike, it worked a treat with the 47s. However, when I tried this same method with the HSTs and their sound pack I got the message,
"Unable to convert files-the file Template\HST-Controls.txt is missing."
I had selected all the HSTs and this message came up on the first one. To be honest I hadn't tried any of the others so don't know whether this is a generic message or just for the first loco in the list. Further advice would be most welcome. Many thanks.

Nice! Can it do the same for the Class 37 Pro Pack? :)

Is there a way to apply these sounds to the NSE class 47 pack? The utility doesnt seem to work for that model.
