Re: Ferrovia sul confine Italia-Francia V3.0 -- released
Hi Rob, The thing is I haven't swapped or changed anything with RWTools as I have all the Rollingstock,Assets, and Routes nessessary to run, the only thing I had to do was change over to the original Kuju folder which is 4.5GB transfer a few freight wagons from my Modified Kuju folder (which is over 11GB) that is only need for this route only and the first scenario works no problem.
I guess that I'll just have to be content with that and delete what is not working until some more appear on the horizon, as well as to rembember to keep swapping Kuju folders. A small price to pay for such a splended route.

More scenarios will no doubt come along.Ajay1 wrote:Hi Rob, The thing is I haven't swapped or changed anything with RWTools as I have all the Rollingstock,Assets, and Routes nessessary to run, the only thing I had to do was change over to the original Kuju folder which is 4.5GB transfer a few freight wagons from my Modified Kuju folder (which is over 11GB) that is only need for this route only and the first scenario works no problem.

Hi John,
Downloaded route and your 2 scenarios, checked with RW-tools no assets missing or rolling stock missing,
But on both scenarios they load ok and start to run ok untill I get to the same point in each scenario (IE 2nd scenario
about to couple up to freight cars when I get the SBHH and game shuts down.)
On the first scenario I get SBHH just after leaving the first platform stop each time.
Has any one had the same and if so did they find out the problem?
Cheers Stan

No issues at all like that for me. However this behaviour sometimes occurs either because of a faulty piece of rolling stock or, too large a Kuju or other Asset providers folder.
As a last resort you could try firstly a reduced Kuju folder or, a fresh Asset folder. I have cured similar issues in the past with this. Sometimes putting the route in its own Routes folder helps.

Hu chris,
Thanks for the reply, Its stange this one as I said both scenarios start to run ok then stop with SBHH at the same point each time,
My kuju folder is less then 7GB and all the other routes including the 28 european routes run fine, and stange as it is Johns route that he withdrew due to many problems
still worked fine on mine including the scenario john did for it.
I have these routes on a different boot up system to keep european routes seperate from the uk routes to keep the asset load as low as possible.
I think the biggest problem is the railworks package manager it somehow sometimes screws things up when compling and de-compling for other people to enjoy, (problems which we never get with a purchased items) such a shame.
Anyway I will keep trying to sort it out and maybe other scenarios may work when released.
Ps I tried to create a free scenario but the railworks edit program SBHH and stopped working before the route had even loaded.
Cheers Stan

Re: Ferrovia sul confine Italia-Francia V3.0 -- released
Have just downloaded and started to install the Scenario Pack1: Servizio sulla D445 V1.0 slowly one by one checking as I go. RWTools states that I have no asetts or texture files missing but when I load up part 1, I am immediately confronted
with this ?
What file is missing ?
Thanks
Antony.

Don't recall that building but you do see a few like that where there are no winter textures for it. You could prove that by creating a freeroam in the area in summer and checking.
Cannot look at right now as I am doing a Verify as Donner Pass is throwing a wobbly and I have had 2 long internet outages today and only just got online.
In the meantime does the scenario run for you?

Yes, the scenario runs no problem. Just finished installing the remaining 5 parts, checking and starting each one as I went. They all came up trumps with no missing items and issues .
Here is a picture of the same location from the very first scenario : (1 JC) -- R 25652 Olivone-Breganzona (2010) which is set in summer, with the buildings showing. The actual location is in Breganzona, track Deposito breg old bin 1.

Looks like the missing winter texture. Not much we can do about that unless the Italian builder of the asset upgrades it. Still shouldn't detract from what is a brilliant route with really great scenarios.

Hi all
Thank you Chris for your information. The only thing I can add is that some of the buildings (by a spanish builder) just doesn't have winter textures. We have to wait until the builder adds it...
Ciao, Pasquale.
PS: Glad the scenarios work. Was a lot of work, right Chris?

A lot of work but great scenarios to test. Loads of AI traffic to interact with.
Brilliant route.

Ajay1 wrote:johncoltrane wrote:How is that possible? I got a slightly different list from the same scenario. Did you uninstall the route with Utilites.exe and then delete the whole folder in the railworks directory before installing the new version? Did you extract the .rwp file before install it?
Don't know what to say. I have checked the file which is on the server and it works.
I did unistall with Utilites.exe then delete the folder then reinstall both ways. apparently when I first installed the Route and scenarios I had a few broken consist errors and fixed it by clicking on edit and then save. The items that was listed as broken are installed in my larger Kuju folder, once I copied over the offending missing rollingstock into the smaller Kuju folder which now fixes that.
I now have only one other error. The D343 engine now shows up where it should, but I get this ?
Antony
Not sure whats happening here, gremlins in the computer I suspect. I just installed the latest fourth scenario for this route. thanks, and it is working without any problems. also tried to reinstall the 2nd scenario which I was originally having constant errors with the missing markers etc. It to is now working. what the problem was remains a mystery. One question though about the D343 engine which is used in this scenario. Once inside the cab of this engine I am unable to use the mouse or keyboard to move about inside. ( if you switch to the inside cab of any other engine you can move around again) Is this the case with this particular model engine ?
